Day 2 at HorrorHound, post 1. It deserves its own! The Cabin Fever panel was hands down one of my favorite parts about the past 2 days. You can still feel the chemistry with this cast, and there were so many awesome stories told! So much laughter and love shared! They all said how much fun shooting the movie was and how they left that experience, thinking that's what every set would be like. Surprisingly, they said they haven't had that experience since, which kinda made me sad for them. Just goes to show you what a great director Eli Roth is!! I can listen to that man talk about movies all day long. He always has an answer for a question and doesn't have to think about it. Best Horror Panel Ever! Again, @brooklinebooksmith brought the best authors together. First of all, Chris Golden is OG of horror, and hands down the best speaker ever. He needs to stop everything he is doing and start a podcast. I would subscribe in a minute!! Pairing him with Gretchen Felker Martin, who is so damn smart and honest, and Catriona Ward, who is heart and freaking talented… omg this was the best line up ever. Catriona Ward is at the top of my authors to meet list. Actually seeing her was amazing. She is so kind, beautiful, with a fairy like voice that should narrate audiobooks. I had a giant stack of books for her to sign, and she didn’t bat an eye. Amazing. The best conversation, with amazing questions. A completely full house of fans. She lives in upstate New York with her family, their dog, a strange kitten who enjoys wearing sweaters, and an evil cat who is no doubt planning to take over the world. Adam Cesare is the author of the Bram Stoker Award-winning Clown in a Cornfield series, the graphic novel Dead Mall, and several other novels and novellas including the cult hit Video Night and the YA psychothriller Influencer. Diana Rodriguez Wallach has never been cursed by a supernatural forest, but she has hiked through one. She is the author of eight YA novels, including her previous YA horror Small Town Monsters. She currently lives in the Philadelphia area with her husband and two children. Vincent Tirado is a non-binary Afro-Latine Bronx native. Their first novel, BURN DOWN, RISE UP (2022) was recognized with the Pura Belpré Award, and nominated for both the Bram Stoker and Lambda Literary Award.
