Londyn ma mnóstwo ukrytych zielonych oaz, które pozwalają na moment zapomnieć, że jest się w centrum prawie 9-cio milionowej metropolii. Miejsca te często są ukryte w cieniu szklanych drapaczy chmur, zaskakują swoją obecnością, ukryte gdzieś pomiędzy wiekowymi kamienicami i nowoczesnymi biurowcami. Crystal Palace Bowl bandstand in Crystal Palace Park designed by architect Ian Ritchie with engineers Atelier One completed 1996. The bowl first came into being in 1911 for the Festival of Empire. During the 1970's it hosted bands including Pink Floyd and giant octopus, Elton John, The Who (Keith Moon famously fell into the pond whilst dressed as a pirate disembarking from a hovercraft), Faces, Eric Clapton, Beach Boys and of course Bob Marley in 1980. I was fortunate to have seen Bob Marley live at Glasgow Apollo on the same tour and seeing this plaque on the bandstand pylons the other day brought back those memories - particularly of Bob returning to the stage at the end of the set to play Redemption Song on his acoustic guitar with 'Glasgow' written across the soundbox. J'essaye toujours de partager mes plus belles photos. Je ne crois pas que celle-ci rencontre mes critères mais je la partage quand même pour la mémoire associée. En 2021, si ma mémoire est bonne, la famille royale a ouvert un musée d'artéfacts au deuxième étage de Westminster Abbey. Cependant, il faut payer pour y aller et aucune photographie n'est permise - surement pour forcer les touristes à acheter leur livre de photos dans le magasin souvenir. Провели чудесное время в парке Ричмонда 🌳 Очень природное место. Удивительно, что парк находится в пределах города. Стекляшки, и даже колесо обозрения можно увидеть на холме. Потрясающий вид. Ощущения, что ты то ли в лесу, то ли в Африке😄 Конечно, свободно гуляющее олени - сердце парка. Невозможно не восхититься красотой этих животных. Мы сделали ли пикник на пне. В парке встречаются аккуратные брёвна или пенёчки, это специальные места, где люди могут присесть отдохнуть. Дети с удовольствиям лазили по брёвнам, таскали их) природная детская площадка 👍 Возле парковки в центре парка есть небольшой ларёк с чаем/кофе/перекусом. Прошли этот большой парк насквозь: через озерца, через поля, мимо красивейших деревьев. И это была лишь часть прогулки, потом мы попали в другой парк, более дикий.
