Our top places to eat & drink at Disney World 🌎 🏰 1. Joffreys Coffee always 🙃 I'm a Starbucks girl at heart but nothing beats a Jamaican Shakin from Joffreys to get the day started! They also do a great chocolate muffin if you don't fancy waiting in line at any of the confectionary locations 🤫 2. Epcot - we have no clear favourite here but they do the best frozen cocktails! For us it was a mint julep & strawberry daiquiri from the American adventure. 3. Jack Jack's num num cookies from Hollywood Studios. These are huge and can definitely be shared! 4. Animal kingdom pink donut 🍩 although you can get these all round the parks, this is a great option for a quick cheap snack *clearly too good to wait for a picture 📸 5. Yak & Yeti Animal Kingdom - their sit down menu is incredible! We've had a variety of items from here and our personal favourite was the Chicken Tikka 😋 Top tip, if you can't get a reservation then get in the lime at 11am and be first in the queue for when it opens at 11:30. It's worth the wait!! 6. MoriMoto Asia Disney springs - this is another sit down restaurant we can't get enough off! If you want something a little fancy and pricey then the peking duck is insane. For a more reasonable price then definitely try the orange chicken 🍊 7. Finally we have the polite pig, another favourite at Disney springs. This is a quick service restaurant and is definately good value for money. First day of Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend pt. 2! We actually got through the expo pretty quick and were hella hungry (no surprise there) so we went to Disney Srings and got a seat at the sushi bar in Morimoto’s and omfg it was so good! I’d only ever had their quick service (which is amazing) and I was so happy to get a chance to try their dining service! The inside was super cool and we got seated super quick! This was my first time trying tamagoyaki and I loved it despite not being an omelet fan lol! Please excuse the missing rice of sushi I got a bit eager before I realized I didn’t snap a pick lol! We got takoyaki as we left too and Häagen-Dazs cones for dessert. These cookies and the peanut butter cold brew are our favorite! 2. Spending time in Disney Springs, we want to eat around Disney springs at get our favorites: Brussel sprouts from Polite Pig, thigh high chicken biscuits from Homecomin’, Mac and cheese bites from Wine Bar George, and sticky spare ribs from Morimoto Asia. 3. Houston’s top request is a Pub sub! It’s a Publix sub sandwich. We would get gone almost once a week when we lived there and they really are the best! 4. Let me introduce you to the most delicious disney meal i’ve ever had. . If you’ve never dined at morimoto asia in disney springs, i cannot recommend it highly enough. My fam and i went for the first time on our last trip and we’re definitely making it a staple for trips to come! 100% recommend starting out with their famous sticky ribs, they’re tender, flavorful, and fall right off the bone! the crunchy bits are my favorite. My dad and i STILL talk about how good they are to this day. Next up is this lobster ramen that i had, there’s so much flavor involved and everything goes together so well, i would definitely order it again! . . This is my second time at ramen rumble and I have to be honest it wasn’t as good as Ramen rumble 4. There was a lot of innovative ramen but most of them didn’t hit the mark for me. Here’s my ramen ranking of the night from my favorite to least liked. Morimoto’s abura soba by chef Ikeuchi was my favorite. Abura soba is a soupless style of ramen seasoned with an aroma oil and sauce. The noodles were thick and chewy and the sauce was a mix of savory sweetness with just the perfect amount of oiliness to coat the noodles. A tad too sweet for my liking but it was still my vote of the night. Ramen Takagi’s gyuton ramen was the winner of the overall competition but it gets second place from me. The broth was a creamy mixture of pork and beef but I thought it fell a bit flat on the seasoning. The broth overall was good and had the appearance of ramen soup but the wide flat noodles reminded me of Chinese knife cut noodles rather than ramen. It didn’t have the chew or alkaline flavor that’s prevalent in ramen noodles so it was a bit of a negative for me. Having roast beef as a topping instead of the usual pork chashu was another bold choice and it fits the theme since the broth was partly beef but it also took away from the ramen-ness of the overall dish.
