Chef Art Smith's Homecomin is my favorite restaurant in Disney World. I try to stop on every trip. We're talking feel good comfort food at its best. Love the food, the cocktails and the atmosphere. 🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️ Pictured are some dishes I've tried. The Mac & cheese is the best I've had at any restaurant. The fried chicken is the best I've ever tasted hands down. But my favorite dish is the fried green tomatoes appetizer. They also have a wide variety of moonshine and signature cocktails! 🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗 Don't let the difficulty getting a reservation or the crowds deter you. I have been able to walk up and get a table with minimal wait on multiple occasions. Jock Lindsey's Hanger Bar is one of my favorite lounges on property. In honor of the newest installment of the Indiana Jones franchise they have added special menu items and merchandise. 🍸🍸🍸🍸 Unfortunately you can't reserve this spot. It's first come and seat yourself. But it is a great spot for a small bite and a strong cocktail on your next Disney Springs outing. Also this place is full of Easter eggs and movie memorabilia. 🐍🐍🐍🐍 I dream about their Cargo Loaded Pretzel stuffed with charcuterie and served with an amazing beer cheese. I am always in the mood for a great Charcuterie Board! This one was new to me! Found at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, this is the Jasper Board: An array of Southern charcuterie. Shaved honey ham, smoked sausage, country ham, pimento cheese, chicken salad, tomato-bacon jam, B&B pickles, candied pecans, crostini and our house made crackers. The only bad thing about this was that it took me so long to discover it! @theboathouseorlando Currently making plans for my October trip and my family unanimously chose to go back to The Boathouse at Disney Springs. We tried this restaurant on our last visit and had an epic meal. It is mostly known for its incredible seafood and just look at the size of those lobster tails they served! But don't sit on their steaks, finer than most steakhouses I have visited. If you're an oyster fan check out their raw bar. ⛵⛵⛵⛵ On top of the amazing food is the incredible service. Probably one of the best dining experiences we have had on property. It is a bit of a splurge meal but well worth it IMO. 🦞🦞🦞🦞 This one is located in Disney Springs in between Jock Lindsey's and Paddlefish. Our night at Disney Springs • First thing we did was go get my card for my annual pass! The line was extremely short and took me maybe 5 minutes! We immediately went to Gideon’s Bakehouse to put our names on the over 2 hour virtual que…worth it because there is nothing like those cookies in the world! We had dinner at Wolfgang Puck which is one of our favorites!! Let me just say I dream about the bruschetta!! The wedge salad is incredible and my husband loves the burger! Did a little shopping before we got called back to Gideon’s and we got a Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter and the limited edition Turtle cookies! I love looking at the art also from Mr. Eyes!
