Marriage of the Rivers 🌊🌊 When two mighty Rivers Collide with all their force Its a clash of two different personalities.. One more mature, calmer.. the other a relatively younger, enthusiastic Newbie... The younger, more exuberant River immediately tries to take control.. excitedly overriding the waves of the More mature River.. Blending its colour, mud, sediments and sentiments in the other's expanse... Displaying all it's great qualities, to be appreciated, lapped up and given absolute control.. The Mature River is indulgent of the enthusiastic overtures of the child-adult.. At times embracing and cuddling.. at other times pushing it playfully away.. For a distance they dominate each other in turn ... What will be the final colour of the union one can't know.. It seems muddy yellow then pristine blue.. then a mix of the two.. The Rivers tussle each other out for dominance- all force, currents, flow... In the end the more powerful personality takes over and it's colour (Thought, Ideas) is seen to emerge as a Stronger theme.. even as the River is changed forever by the meeting and mating with It's companion. What people don't realise is: The syntax of a sentence while intended to convey the same message -can get you a positive Or negative response. The way you formulate your words to ask someone for something.. Or, to even convey best wishes.. tells the other person, what you think about them.. For instance, some people say things like- "I want to take you there"- in which the other person's choice is completely suspended. It seems like it's upto you to take them there or not.. Or, "I was thinking I will take you with me.." In which you have subtly taken a position of Power - by implying that it's your choice - and you are still thinking about it- and maybe you will take them along.. they have no say..😂😂 The correct way of asking someone is: " I am going there - I would be delighted if you could join me.." Or,"Would you like to come with me ..it would make me so happy.." Now, you see- you have given the choice to the other person - and conveyed your respect and affection for them Most of the people act so entitled to other people's Time-and worse, they get confrontational-demanding an explanation if they are not given the space they want. Most of your relationship problems and related disappointments will disappear if you stop trying to occupy the spaces that others are ill-inclined to give you. That's it. That space is not given to you. You can't fight/ manipulate/ sulk/ demand your way into spaces that are not given to you. 🤦🏻♀ Maybe those spaces are reserved for others AND that's totally fine.. No one need forcibly give you the space that YOU THINK you deserve. Learn to take 'No' for an answer. Learn to get sidelined and be okay with it. So many people in their middle age/ old age still struggle to give up their need for adulation and constant validation.. AND They force their way into spaces where they are unwanted. The quicker you learn to be okay with having no power over others.. The quicker you learn to give up your need to control.. The quicker you learn to respect others' choice in everything- including not even wanting you/ to be with or spend time with you.. The better your relationship with self and others will be. 💐🦋🌻

All the relationships exact a price out of you.. that's why.. most of the sensitive people prefer to be alone - rather than be a cog in the machinery that gives everything a price tag, and everyone a valuation. I prefer to not be valued or devalued. I prefer to be priceless and Timeless.. and breathe and live easy. Don't be nice to me expecting something out of me- It makes me physically sick - to read the motives and agendas behind the interactions. AND how easy it is to see the little games people play.. and how burdensome to feel their energies laden with expectations. Love, friendship and connections have to be free of the baggage of expectations and projections of wants, needs or desires-or, they are mere transactions. Humans are not some transaction machines where you swipe your card to get what you want and give your rating basis what you got or didn't. Knowing such people closely has actually traumatized me forever- those who speak every word weighing in what they can get out of you.. and then presume to punish you by not being sweet and nice- when they don't get their way. I am the same person I was and always have been - I just don't invite vampires in anymore -and I now look for matched efforts minus any agenda -to even exchange a word, an iota of energy with anyone. I am no longer interested in one-sided pouring of energies. AND I am definitely NOT a step on the ladder to make ANYONE reach ANYWHERE. How dare you even presume to use me and my energies for your own self-interest. My Humanity is NOT less than yours. Absolutely don't make excuses for your lack of efforts, regards and consideration.. Don't even attempt to speak a word defending your lack of mindfulness, lack of efforts and lack of respect. If you don't care about me-I don't even acknowledge your existence. AND this is NOT conceit. This is an act of defiance in preservation of my own soft heart. देखती हूं अक्सर कि हर नाटक में मेरी एक भूमिका निहित है.. वो भूमिका मेरी चुनी हुई नहीं है लेकिन रहना मुझे अपने किरदार में ही है क्योंकि जहां मैंने अपना किरदार छोड़ा पूरा का पूरा नाटक बिगड़ जाएगा.. आगे के लिखे हुए संवाद, जो पहले से ही तय हैं जो बाकि सारे किरदारों को उम्र भर के अभ्यास से अब मुंह -ज़बानी याद हैं, उनके चरित्र का हिस्सा हैं उनका अस्तित्व हैं, उनका पूरा का पूरा जीवन हैं.. जो उन्हें सब- कुछ ठीक होने का यकीं दिलाते हैं मेरे अपनी निहित सीमाओं से निकलते ही वे सारे संवाद ख़त्म हो जाएंगे, व्यर्थ हो जाएंगे वो सब तितर- बितर - बिखर जाएंगे और साथ ही बाकि के सारे कलाकार भी असहज हो जाएंगे, दिशा-हीन, संज्ञा-हीन वे ख़ुद भी सीमा-हीन हो जाएंगे और उन्हें अपनी संज्ञाओं की, अपनी सीमाओं की आदत है सीमाएं उनकी ज़रूरत है.. वे एक अंत-हीन आकाश में मेरे साथ नहीं उड़ सकते वो उड़ना चाहते भी नहीं.. कितना बेढंगा विचार है ये, उड़ने का..!! मेरे मस्तिष्क की धमनियां, पतंग-पतंगे-तितलियां बन गए हैं लेकिन बाकि सब तो अभी भी ज़मीन से जुड़े, जड़-वृक्ष ही हैं उनकी जड़ें उनके मस्तिष्क में फैली उनको घेरे हुई हैं और उन्हें इसी में सहजता का सामान्यता का एहसास होता है.. नहीं.. बिल्कुल नहीं..!! मेरे संगी- साथी नहीं चाहते कि संवाद बदले और सभी के किरदार उलट - पलट हो जाएं.. वे सभी चाहते हैं, कि नाटक ठीक वैसा ही हो जैसा बरसों से चला आ रहा है.. ऐसे सर्वप्रिय नाटक को बदलने की प्रेरणा ही क्यों हो..!? कितना बेढंगा विचार है ये.. संवाद बदल देने का...!!! ये जानते हुए भी, मैं संवाद बदल देती हूं..!! जहां मेरा 'हां' कहना निहित है, वहां में 'ना' गरजती हूं जहां मेरा 'ना' कहना लिखित है, वहां मैं 'हां' बरसती हूं कभी मैं कुछ ऐसा बोल देती हूं, जो कि स्क्रिप्ट में है ही नहीं कभी कुछ ऐसा, जो स्क्रिप्ट में है. उसे मैं नहीं बोलती हूं.. बस सबके चेहरों की तरफ़ कर देती हूं अपनी आकाशगंगा-आंखों की धार.. देखा है मैंने, सब की आंखें चौंधिया जाते हुए सबको अपना फ़ीका पड़ा विकृत चेहरा हाथों में छुपाते हुए.. अंधेरे की इतनी आदत पड़ चुकी है.. नहीं बर्दाश्त होती किसी को.. सैकड़ों तारों की रौशनी और नहीं बर्दाश्त होता किसी को, मेरा दायरे को तोड़ना.. ये जानते हुए भी, मैं हर-बार दायरा तोड़ देती हूं..!! —सूत्रधार #स्निग्धा #SnigdhaPandey १५/११/२०२२ ©️ @_snigdha_pandey_ ______________________________________________________ #हिंदी #हिंदीसाहित्य #कवि #कवियत्री #kavita #hindi #hindilove #hindipoem #hindikavita
