|| is it even a lash studio if you don’t accidentally find lashes on the wet paint? || 🌻🌾 it’s that time again,, the dreaded Spring Shred. … even though we do shed natural lashes regularly though out the year, around this time for about 6 weeks ( and again in the fall 🙄 ) we tend to shed our hair a little bit more than usual. … however,, everyone is different and goes through lash / hair growth cycles differently. this means that some may shed more during this time and some may not notice as much. … other things can also effect lash retention like : ** allergy - itching causing excessive rubbing can not only loosen the bond of the glue , but also prematurely shed the natural lashes. ** medicated eye drops - eye drops in general use a saline solution that ,if left on the lashes, leaves a residue that builds up and can close the fan making them lose their fluff and loosen the bonding of the glue. ** facial products applied to close to the eyes - now that the weather is nice enough for us to all run around and play, everyone is lathering themselves in sunscreen. But those heavier moisturizers and sunscreens will do a number on your fluffy lashes. Absolutely continue to use those products but just remember for any / all facial products, do not apply higher than your orbital bone. Skye appreciation post - this woman is so incredibly sweet and thoughtful! Last Christmas she sent me a custom necklace that she had made of my mom and I. It was a picture of me and my mom carved into silver 😩 .I had been hurting all day long and missing my mom and I got this gift in the mail from Skye. She colored me cuss words and wrote me a card for my 10 years 😂. After my family passed she brought me groceries. This past weekend for Halloween, she flew out to stay with us for a few days. We laughed a lot, we ate a lot, we talked a lot, and I got to give us matching tattoos. For Halloween we got all dressed up as #afallenangel and #Eleven, we ate candy, and we went to see Prey for the Devil at the movie theater haha (what any decent, sober 32 year olds do on Halloween). At least, I haven’t found one I like yet and I’ve tried a lot. Today I’m hoping I can get some work done on my book. This writer’s block is killing me. You ever go awhile writing and it’s just flowing out of you and then suddenly you come to a halt? That’s what happened to me. I’m stuck and I’m not sure how to get out of it. I tried writing in my online journal. Thinking if I could start writing something that the creative juices would just start coming. Not even that was working for me.
