I know that this post won't mean anything to those who have never competed or volunteered at an IRONMAN event, but you might find it as a good read. When you compete in an @ironmantri You are given this bracelet to give to a volunteer on the course that went above and beyond to help you through the day. Whether it be at the beginning, middle, or end... its truly an honor for an athlete that is enduring a 140.6 mile race to take a moment of their possible disoriented time and think of you at that specific moment. With that, I'm truly blessed to have been that helping hand today at IM Louisville that recieved this. I’ve been thinking a lot about 2018 and what I want to do race wise.... lots of pros and cons to big “branded” races vs local style favorites....
