--English version in comments section-- Am 05.04.2024 wird das zumindest von meiner Seite aus sehnsüchtig erwartete 3. Album "Eastern Tales" der französischen Epic/Atmospheric Black Metal Band das Licht der Welt erblicken. Es wird wieder in die eigens für die Musik kreierte fantastische, mittelalterliche Welt rund um das Königreich Therallas eingetaucht und spannende Geschichten rund um tapfere Krieger ("Sons of the Sun"), unbekannte und uralte Länder ("Storm From an Ancient Age"), alte Magier ("The Hermit Awakens"), epische und tragische Schlachten ("Battle for Therallas") und dem Aufstieg eines Herrschers ("The Rise of a Sovereign") werden zum Besten gegeben. Musikalisch ist man also wieder im Black Metal aus der Schule von Summoning und Caladan Brood unterwegs, dieser Sound eignet sich auch einfach ideal dafür, fantastische Geschichten zu erzählen. Viele Bands versuchen in den großen Fußstapfen der genannten Bands zu gehen, können jedoch selten das Level erreichen, geschweige denn auf Albumlänge das Niveau halten. Ausufernde Songs zu schreiben, die durchgehend spannend sind und genau auf den Punkt kommen, gelingt Belore indes anscheinend absolut problemlos. Die epischen und orchestralen Parts klingen so pompös und mächtig, dass man sich die magischen Wälder, erhabene Burgen und gewaltige Schlachten mühelos vorstellen und in diese Welt eintauchen kann. Durch die hervorragend inszenierten Chöre werden diese epischen Momente nur noch verstärkt und sorgen für pausenlose Gänsehaut. Die atmosphärischen und ruhigeren Parts haben eine beruhigende, fast hypnotische Wirkung, die furiosen Black Metal Ausbrüche sitzen perfekt und sorgen für das notwendige Maß an Aggressivität und Härte. Mit "Eastern Tales" knüpft die Band nicht nur thematisch perfekt an den Vorgänger "Artefacts" an, auch soundtechnisch und musikalisch wird die Atmosphäre des hervorragenden Vorgängers sehr gut aufgenommen und in die neue Musik übertragen und Belore beweist einmal mehr, dass die Band es verdient hat aus dem Untergrund auszubrechen.
