Well, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with this gorgeous bike this morning 🤗 This MV Agusta Dragster 800RR Pirelli was given a general clean up, including deep clean of the wheels, underneath the mudguards, and lower areas of the bike, with a pressure washer and various brushes to get in those hard to reach areas. The rest of the bike was cleaned with a steamer, and then once all dried off we finished it with a coat of Matte sealant from @krystalkleendetail This is a “quick clean” rather than a “detail” and took about an hour to complete. E.g you don’t want your dog to dig up the flowers in the garden? Keep them on a lead when they are in the garden, or pop a temporary gate/fencing up etc so they can’t access the flower beds while you work through the training. The Bank of England held interest rates at 5.25% despite continued falls in the rate of inflation and a return for growth for the UK economy in January. The Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) voted by eight to one to hold the base rate at 5.25%, the fifth month in a row that it has stayed at that level. The Bank said that it needs to be certain that inflation will fall to its 2% target and stay there before making cuts to rates. The Bank’s decision followed the release of data that showed the pace of inflation has slowed. It fell to 3.4% in February, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). That is down from 4% in January and December, and the lowest rate for nearly two and a half years. 🔎 Micro-trauma 🔍 How have I injured myself, I don’t recall doing anything? This is a question I hear frequently from clients, who are mystified as to how they become injured without recalling any traumatic event. Whilst occasionally this could be down to alcohol related amnesia, more often than not injuries develop as result of micro-trauma! Consider these more your overuse / overload injuries: The silent assassins. To put it basically, micro-trauma will develop when tissues are under repetitive excess or abnormal stress, that takes the tissue beyond its tolerance level. This can lead to tiny tears and / or inflammation developing in the tissue. Common factors that may contribute to such injuries: 🦶Poor foot mechanics ⚖️ Weight gain 👞 Poor footwear or change in training surface. 🍑 Weak Glutes / Poor Hip Control 💻 Bad working posture. 📈 Rapid increases in training. Common problems I see as a result of micro-trauma: 🔹Achilles Tendinopathy 🔹Shin Splints 🔹Anterior Knee Pain 🔹Plantar Fasciitis 🔹Tennis Elbow 🔹Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy.
