The reality is they're some disgusting spotty, black headed mess hiding behind a skin filter with yellow teeth. The chicken is imported from China. It baffles me how it's cheaper to import from that far out than it is to buy chicken from Daves farm 2 streets away. If I was in charge at Aldi, I'd cancel Roosters contract with immediate effect. They're a liability to Aldi. The chicken is cheap tasting, chewy and actually tastes like sausage. It has a sausage skin film/plastic coating that is vile. The salt & chilli flavour is there but it's overpowered by some cheap chinese/oriental flavour that made me gag. £2.99 from Aldi for 4 x skewers. Have you tried these? Subway royally pisses me off. The best thing about them was their five dollar footlongs and they got rid of them. They had tomato basil and Caesar flavored wraps and got rid of those, and the plain wraps taste like ass. Now they had a foot long cookie and I went to go get it today and they don’t sell them anymore! Sigh. I had such low expectations for the churro that I thought it was actually pretty good. Wasn’t as dry as I expected and it had some flavor. The salted pretzel on the other hand was hard as a rock and I almost choked on it trying to chew it. Auntie Anne’s should be ashamed of themselves they threw out this shit product to partner with Subway on. Both can do much better and have. Basically the moral of the story is don’t get Subway unless you’re trying to eat healthy and lose weight. Then maybe get one of their salads or something.
