Thé Gates Il fallait quand même que je vous montre quelques photos en lien avec le réel que j'ai posté lundi soir avant de quitter ce superbe bout de côte des Asturies pour Los Picos de Europa. Je suis resté près de 3h à attendre que le soleil fasse son job, à observer ce que les vagues faisaient sur cette portion de paysage car dès que j'ai posé les yeux sur ces énormes roches, je savais que j'en ferais mon sujet principal. Il fallait juste attendre le 1/4 d'heure de folle lumière qui s'annonçait: pas de nuages sur l'horizon mais des cumulus de beau temps comme on dit, enfin je crois. Je voyais les embruns qui volaient au-dessus de l'océan présageant la brume atmosphérique qui allait donner de la profondeur à la photo que j'avais en tête. Il fallait encore attendre que le soleil décline sur l'horizon pour qu'elle s'illumine un peu. Les éclairagistes de spectacles connaissent bien le phénomène. Ce n'est pas pour rien qu'ils emplissent les scènes de fumée... J'ai donc attendu en peaufinant au mieux la composition, cherchant un équilibre, de la séparation entre les divers éléments, trouver une astuce pour avoir les vagues où je voulais. Je ne vous dit pas le nombre de déclenchements ce soir là pour avoir un résultat qui me satisfasse. Ce n'est pas toujours évident en photo de paysage car contrairement au peintre qui a la liberté de bouger des éléments sur sa toile, le photographe doit faire avec ce que la nature lui donne. Je sais, il y a photoshop mais où serait le challenge ? Un peu de retouche pourquoi pas mais bouger de telles masses dans une image est une toute autre affaire.😅 Bref, quand le moment est arrivé j'étais prêt sur pas mal de points : placement, hauteur de trépied, focale, vitesse...mais franchement, je ne m'attendais pas à un tel spectacle... #outdoors #nature #sky #seastacks #seascape #clouds #ocean #rawwaters #rawskies #rawcommunity

Deadly Fangs Early Blue Hour shot Réveil matinal : 4h à cause du gamin du dessous qui s'est mis à pleurer mais bon, grâce à lui je n'ai rien manqué du spectacle gracieusement offert par Dame Nature. Ça pique un peu quand même, mais après un café et un petit coup d'œil sur les photos du repérage de la veille au soir, je me traîne vers ma voiture. Ça va, c'est à moins de 15 mn par les routes tortueuses du secteur. C'est l'heure des chats, ils sont tous de sortie et traversent la route n'importe où, n'importe quand. Il faut garder les yeux bien ouverts. En même temps, j'imagine qu'ils ne doivent pas voir grand monde à cette heure matinale. J'arrive enfin et me gare sur le bas côté car il n'y a pas vraiment de parking dans le petit bourg qui surplombe ce spot. Il me faut encore faire les 10/15 mn de descente à la frontale pour y accéder mais j'ai de la marge (merci gamin !). Et là, après un premier lacet le paysage se dégage et offre une vue à couper le souffle sous ce qui n'est encore que les prémices de l'aube. C'était déjà beau sous le soleil mais avec cette lumière ça prend vraiment une toute autre ampleur. The Candlestick, from our trip to Tasmania at the start of the year. A proper trad adventure!
