Hey, a little intro on me is in order! I don’t post many pictures of me on the grid but you can call me Iris. I’m Finnish but I’ve lived in 🇬🇧 for nearly half my life so I basically have no idea what to say when people ask me where I’m from. Book review: Too Hot to Handle by Tessa Bailey 2⭐⭐ Honestly there isn't much for me to say about this book.. while I'm sure it's great for someone.. it was not a good one for me. I hate that this is the case because I loved Secretly Yours by her! I like smut but this was too much but not really in a good way. I was so excited about the story, Rita a chef following in her late mother's footsteps, decides to honor her dying wish and gets her dysfunctional siblings to come along for the ride. They get stuck in a town in their travels across the country and that's where Rita meets Jasper. Jasper is not what I was expecting even knowing he's the local man whore, the forwardness and the use of always calling her beautiful as a pet name just had me gagging and not in a good way. I think if there was more story and less smut it would've been so so much better. The parts with Rita's family is the only reason it has 2 stars.
