The Little Mermaid Ariel's Undersea Adventure was one of my personal favorite rides at Disney's California Adventure. Ariel has been my favorite Disney character for as long as I can remember, so naturally, I had to ride this when I visited the Disneyland Resort last May. I was absolutely mesmerized the whole time. While I had previously ridden the Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid ride at Magic Kingdom, it had been about five years since I had last been there, so I had forgotten almost the whole ride. It was like I got to experience a ride about my favorite character for the first time again. Walt Disney World just announced the 2024 dates for their annual Food and Wine Festival: August 29-November 23! You better believe I’m already picking dates for our trip! This is my FAVORITE time of year to go to Disney World. The #FoodandWineFestival always features some of the best food and drinks from around the world at the World Showcase in Epcot and it’s to die for. Live music is everywhere you go, and the energy is unbeatable. Tons of fun for Disney adults, couples, families, and even the little guys! (Della has been twice and she’ll tell ya: it’s a hoot and a half!) Bonus! Resort spotlight! Over at Disneyland, the newly reopened Pixar Pier recently underwent a major overhaul. The rooms have all been renovated and the entire hotel is now Pixar themed. Disney Imagineers added so many fun details and characters from all the Disney/Pixar movies. The lobby is visually stunning! Not to mention the super cute Finding Nemo splash area on the rooftop pool deck. This resort is a great choice for families wanting to go to Disneyland!

As many of you know one of my favorite parts of visiting Disneyland is spending time hanging and meeting the Avengers. This place is so magical and amazing and I truly can’t describe how special Disney’s California Adventure is to me. One of my favorite things is that there are so many interactive activities to check out at Avengers Campus, from the Guardians of the Galaxy Dance Party, to Mystic Arts with Doctor Strange, to the Amazing Spiderman show. ☀️ Soarin’ Over California ☁️ Opening in February 2001 with Disney’s California Adventure, this flight motion simulator helped transport you to your very own hang glider to experience the Golden State from the skies. Filled with the smells and sights of classic landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Yosemite National Park, as well as an introduction to Californian aviation history before you stepped on the ride. 🛫 The original film was shown until June 16th 2016, when the attraction closed to prepare for ‘Soarin’ Around the World’ to debut on the 17th. 🌎 Last month, lucky fans at DCA got to experience the rides famous chief flight attendant, Patrick Warburton, in real life to celebrate the limited-time return of Soarin’ Over California during the Food and Wine Festival. 💫
