Day 9 of our Orlando trip was Universal’s Volcano Bay waterpark and then we babysat all 4 kids so everyone else could go out and we ate leftovers and had a much needed early night. I took no photos this day! Day 10 was Disney World’s Hollywood Studios and then the grandparents offered to babysit the kids so the 4 parents could go out. We went to Little Italy restaurant and Mulligans Irish Bar in Celebration. Highlights - all of Galaxy’s Edge and all the Star Wars rides but especially Rise of the Resistance which felt like you were in the plot. Such a huge production. So many Storm Troopers! We did classics like Tower of Terror and the Indiana Jones stunt show which was nostalgic for members of our group who came in the 90s. We rode slinky dog dash which I felt was overrated but a good coaster for younger kids. Rock n Rollercoaster was fast but not as smooth and enjoyable as the newer coasters like Tron and Guardians. Low lights - The heat was ‘feels like’ 46c this day and it really did and we all struggled a lot. We were hoping to stay for the Fantasmic show at 9.30pm but we quit at 5pm as we were done in. We even went to a lightning McQueen show none of us cared about just to get out of the sun! We ate lunch at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo which was fantastic theming and the food was nice but what was pictured plus two beers was $85. You can take your own food to all the parks but there’s nowhere indoors to eat it so you end up saying just take all my money to get some seating, air-con and a cold drink. All in all a jam packed and memorable 2 days for a variety of reasons!

Now, they do have some free 🎶entertainment 🎶and that would be from DJ R-3X a former pilot. If you are hungry..this is NOT the place for you! However, if you enjoy drinking adult beverages🍻, sharing tables and getting close to strangers then you will love it! Olga’s is known for their concoctions🍹 that can be both kid and adult friendly 😉😉 Keep in mind there is a time restraint on your trip to refuel. 45 minutes before the next party needs to take a break. So soak in the surroundings and possibly an appetizer or two to help hold you over until you decide you need another rest in the Galaxy. 🚀 This may be one of the harder bars to get into in Disney. We didn’t have a reservation but after waiting those few extra minutes and speaking to cast members..we were able to snag a reservation that someone forfeited..and on a HOLIDAY! 📍There are only 2 appetizers here. If you are looking for something to eat after head over to Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo! We did have the Batuu Bits which are vegetable chips and a spicy salsa. Now, pictured here is a 🌱 plant 🌱 based meal..Felucian Kefta & Hummus Garden Spread. This includes plant based meatballs, herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish and a pita. 🐽 The Ronto Wrap is found on the dinner menu (so after 3pm). I’ve always been a fan of @impossible_foods’ options despite not being a #vegan or #vegetarian (even if I don’t totally eliminate meat from my diet, there’s no harm in reducing my consumption and the meat options they offer are great) so this one was really good. Hummus, meatballs and pita is always a good combination. Pork ribs and cream puff from a galaxy far far away 💫 I heard positive reviews on these two items and couldn’t wait to see it for myself (hence the quick snapshot of the food)! The Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs and the Oi-Oi Puff were a delight, highlighting my dining experience at Docking Bay 7. Surprisingly, it lived up to the hype for themed park foods. They were both tasty! Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs had a sweet and kick of spicy taste, that came with a blueberry cornbread and a side of cabbage slaw Oi-Oi puff had raspberry cream inside the puff with passion fruit mousse on the top.
