In less than a year you stole my heart and gained my trust. In less than a year you convinced me to marry you😆🩷 And now a year later after our wedding… I am more in love with you than ever before. Every day I love you more. Truly. Life is better than it has ever been. I feel more blessed than I ever had. So we had a visitor today who tried to bring her lunch in through the window. She stunned herself and her lunch was toast… well actually it was a mourning dove. The Merlin was fine but unfortunately the dove had already succumbed to the hawk’s attack. I put the dove on a stone by the fire pit and after a couple of minutes the hawk was gone … and so was the dove 🫣…all but feathers 🪶. It’s pretty incredible living this close to nature and being able to hold a beautiful little Merlin in your hand until she felt better and able to fly away.
