That’s all I’ll say about that 😆 🍕-Earth Eats IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Parm Bites with tomato and cheese sauces and grated parmesan (New) – $8.50 Such a great dish-we LOVED it! The marinara was warm and didn’t sog out the bites which I was grateful for. So stoked Disney is finally bringing in vegan chicken! Also, this can be modified to be fully vegan if you remove the cheese and just do the marinara sauce and bites which is cool. 🌶️-Peppers Caliente Chile Relleno Empanada with Arbol pepper salsa and Oaxaca and Cotija cheeses – $8.50 It’s back!!! Hands down one of if not THE best dishes ever of Food & Wine. Crispy and golden, cheesy and spicy. Don’t skip this one. I did not try the stroganoff-it has a mushroom sauce and I don’t know if I can eat it cuz mushrooms 🍄 but I think I’ll take one for the team and just give it a taste next week with some friends and report back. It’s Lunar New Year time at DCA! the chefs have really given us some fun items this year and the cocktails are especially excellent. We were so stuffed and couldn’t try it all in one day, but I’ll definitely be back to report the all of the vegetarian goodness! 🍞Kung Pao Bao with Plant-based Chicken, Toasted Peanuts and Scallions $9.00 8/10- this is a such a cool dish! My only request would be more veggies please! But the flavor is spot on and the bao is fluffy & holds everything nicely. 🍚 Spicy Fried Rice with Tofu and Crispy Peas $8.00 I give this one a 7/10. Solid flavor. Lots of spice (‼️ beware ‼️) and the texture of the crispy peas was really great! 🍹 possibly my favorite cocktail -so far- was the Mango Melon Cocktail Overproof Rum, Baijiu, Mango Nectar, Rock Melon Syrup and Lime Juice, topped with Grapefruit Soda and garnished with a Lime Wheel. Few weeks left for the #Lifeday snacks at Disneyland in Batuu! I’m really glad Disneyland is keeping up with this tradition. I love a snack in Batuu and I really like how creative they’ve been getting. Some are hits, and some misses but it’s always fun to try something new! 🥖 I liked the cheese branch from Kat Sakas. It had a great variety of toppings. It reminds me of an everything bagel, but in a soft garlic bread form. My only complaint was that it’s served cold. Would be good to take some home and warm them up. 🧋 The Poola slush (also from Kat Sakas) was really good - despite the terrible color it turns once you mix it 😖. A little on the sweet side for me and to be honest if I’m gonna go with a sweet coffee I’ll just get the old faithful from docking bay but it’s a good change up. Could’ve used a little bit more spice but overall very tasty. 🧀 Also tried the Cheesy Blue Orbs from Ronto Roasters with Blue Parmesan Cheese Powder $5.99 These were super heavy and honestly not worth the carbs. I was expecting a cheesy center but it was dense dough - assuming the cheese was baked in? Unfortunately this was a miss. **Also- if you’re a vegetarian that steers clear of rennet, there’s probably Parmesan baked in so maybe skip it just in case. Festival of Holidays has arrived and though there isn’t a whole lot for us vegetarians there are some exciting new things and good classics as well. First up @impossible_foods Impossible™ Chicken Curry Bites with Lemon Raita and Coriander Chutney $7.50 🌱 Nuggets!!!These are AMAZING!!! the sauces are savory and tangy and herby and pair perfectly with the crunchy “chicken” pieces. I’ll be getting this a few times this season for sure. Also have to mention the Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese with Herb Breadcrumbs, Sour Cream and Chives $8.50. 🧀 This one is all about the Kugel. Such a light and interesting pasta to use. The sauce is tangy as well and definitely not your typical mac n cheese. It’s also SUPER garlicky-in case you’re sensitive. Excited the Twix dessert is back as well as the impossible queso. Both are delicious classics. Also honorable mention to the toffee cold brew- it’s outstanding. What did you think? 7 Greens Gumbo White Beans, Okra, Yams, Sweet Potatoes and Heirloom Rice $14.49 🍲 Based on the popular gumbo ‘Zerbe, this is more like a veggie stew. It’s absolutely delicious, not too salty (which was my complaint about the previous gumbo) and just loaded with wonderful southern flavors. I love that it’s plant-based and really feels healthy compared to a lot of other southern comfort foods. I could use a bit more rice, but I love carbs so… 😂 🍞 🧀 Vegetarian- not plant based is the Buttermilk Cornbread $3.99 and the baked Mac n cheese - you can get it as a side dish which is great! LOVE them both. I’ve heard a lot of rumblings about the mac & cheese but if you know about southern food, you know that mac & cheese and gumbo- much like a lot of the classic dishes, are up to interpretation and vary by region and honestly by family. As long as the flavor is there, I’m in! This casserole style is much more like a Caribbean style mac and has a ton of spices that are spot on IMO. Cornbread flavor is great but wish it was served warm. *not going to review the “beignet” because it’s just not good in my opinion and I couldn’t even eat it. I’m not gonna go there 😂.

Look at this beauty! 😍 This Black Forest Baumkuchen from Connections Eatery in EPCOT was every bit as delicious as it was beautiful! I expected it to have the crunch of a Kit Kat, but it was easy to dive straight into with a fork. Definitely more firm than a croissant but still had a great chew and a wonderful chocolate flavor thoughout. I’m not usually a fan of cherries but they were the PERFECT compliment to the pastry and chocolate- tart, sweet, and delicate. The whipped cream on chocolate piece were the 🍒 on top. We stopped in during the dinner rush and though there was a bit of a wait while they plated this for us amidst the other food orders, it was worth the wait. You can also plan ahead and Mobile Order to save some time! Be sure to stop in and watch these being made, layer by layer, just past the Starbucks counter.
