However, if you’re aiming for better calorie efficiency, opting for options with higher protein and lower calories can be beneficial. Personally, I prioritize protein in my choices. Regarding chips, I indulge in both varieties. Chips are a staple for me unless I’m in a calorie deficit. If you’re aiming to improve your diet, options like these from Trader Joe’s are a good start. They’re a hit with my dogs too, and the red color comes from beet powder. Checking nutritional labels is key when making decisions. Hi everyone. One of the major reasons for why you should eat plant foods is because of animal rights. It is a real problem that needs to stop as soon as possible. Once people become aware of what’s really happening out there and their blinders are lifted off, they can see this world for what it really is, and what’s really going on. I don’t usually post posts like this because it is very heartbreaking, but it is something that is very important in God’s eyes I believe. And it’s important in my eyes as well and too anyone else who has a heart. The more people that are aware of this, the more people there will be to help stop this. You do not need cows milk. Cows milk is for cows. Not you. It’s not to make you upset, it’s to bring realization to you so you can stop contributing to what’s going on out there. So you can stop contributing to the destruction of your own body. Dairy does nothing good for you. A much better option is plants. 🌱 Believe me there is way more horrific stuff like this that happens to animals than you know. It’s unbelievably heartbreaking. Day 235 I feel so drained today. At least my grandson only woke up once during the night, but then he woke up at 6am for his bottle and playtime 🤣 He went back to sleep just after 8am, so I decided to join him, and we both woke up just after 11am. We then spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon playing on his mat or snuggled on the sofa. Once he went home, I just chilled on the sofa, watched 1000lb friends, and did some drawings till Barry got home from work. Then we watched some TV together till it was bedtime. Here is what I typically eat in a day! 🔅Breakfast - low carb high fiber toast with half a tbsp of brown sugar cinnamon butter, 2-3 chicken sausages and scrambled eggs (1 whole egg, 1/2 cup eggs whites) 🔅Mid morning snack - protein yogurt with strawberries, cereal and granola 🔅Lunch - either ground turkey or chicken breast with miracle noodles 🔅Afternoon - Olipop then protein shake. Sometimes I'll have a pre-workout snack like dark chocolate dipped banana chips 🔅Post workout - creatine + a little something like a cookie or homemade protein ice cream 🔅 Dinner - right after my post workout snack. It is always protein (fish, lean beef or chicken) and a veggie (usually a mix/medley) 🔅Dessert - a couple of chocolate covered strawberries 1-2 cookies Protein is my highest priority and I always aim to get in around 140 grams. It is evident that a majority of people love paneer hence I decided to create this rich beetroot marinade of beetroot which is roasted and seasoned with spices herbs and peanut and served on Asian Cabbage And Carrot Salad which is a basic and simple to make salad. It tastes a little bit like pickled cabbage. With a hint of sweetness out of honey and a touch of garlic this was perfect to balance out the rich beetroot panner which was pangrilled . High protein breaky sandwich 🍳 by @mirandabrady sandwich take on the viral egg wrap hack, it’s so yum and so filling!! Use any bread or even a bagel & add any of your favourite fillings cheese 🥑🍅🥓 Ingredients: 2 slices bread 2 eggs 1-2 tbs cheese (15g) 1/4 avocado (25g) 1/2 tomato Spinach/ rocket, optional Salt & pepper Method: 1. Whisk eggs in a bowl and pour into a pan over medium heat (optional to lightly grease it so they don’t stick). Swirl the eggs around to cover the base of the pan. 2. Place bread on top of the eggs, fry for 1 min then flip the bread over. 3. Cook for another minute then flip the eggs/bread so the other side cooks. 4. Top with fillings, season with salt & pepper. Tuck the edges in and fold it over to make a sandwich, transfer to a plate and enjoy! Macros (serves 1): 369 calories P 23.1g C 29.8g F 17g I used 2 slices sourdough & Coles light tasty cheese for these macros.
