I’ve not been on social media a lot this week. Truth be told I find it overwhelming at the best of times. The theme for #mentalhealthawarenesssweek this year is Anxiety. You’ll all know by now that sketching in nature is my daily active meditation, which I continue to share with others gladly. This year, to highlight and support Mental Health Awareness Week I ran a special My Sketchy Menopause workshop: Wild Women in The Garden, with the fine folk at @bridgendfarmhse In the sunshine we drank tea, sketched, talked anxiety in Menopause and the benefits of getting outside, getting creative, connecting with nature - and I shared a wee creative exercise of practising gratefulness for the wee or big things in our lives.
