C’est sous un soleil généreux qu’a été donné le départ de la 15e édition de @the_transat_cic à 13h30 ce dimanche 28 avril, depuis les Coureaux de Groix. Isabelle et ses 32 concurrents en IMOCA sont désormais engagés dans une transatlantique en direction de New York s’annonçant… tonique ! Tout au long du parcours, il faudra composer avec une succession de dépressions venues de l’Ouest, les bancs de brouillard au large de Terre Neuve et le froid polaire ! 🥶 🗨️ "Nous avons de superbes conditions pour partir, clémentes pour un départ de la maison. Rapidement, nous allons devoir passer un premier front de Sud-Ouest d’une trentaine de nœuds avec une mer de 4-5 mètres. Derrière, nous devrions trouver une zone moins ventée. Ce n’est pas très stable. C’est le principe de The Transat CIC. Dans l’Atlantique Nord, les dépressions viennent vers nous et nous allons vers elles, les changements sont très rapides. Ce qui est certain, c’est que nous n’allons pas nous ennuyer ! Il va y avoir beaucoup de manœuvres. Il va vraiment falloir être focus sur la stratégie car il faut se remettre en question assez souvent dans nos choix. Tout va très vite, la météo évolue rapidement ! OLYMPIC GAMES HERE WE COME #paris2024 🇫🇷 For as long as I can remember going to the Olympics has been a dream of mine. First in snowboarding, then skateboarding, hockey and of course sailing 😆 this summer will be amazing 💥 @eline__verstraelen and I started sailing together a couple months ago. How quick Eline went from catamaran newbie to super crew is insane 🤯.
