서점에서 흥미로운 잡지를 발견했다. ‘Copy Cat’ 이름 그대로 미국에서 잘나가는 식당의 메뉴를 하나씩 선정한 다음 본인들의 레시피를 제시했다. 애피타이저부터 시작한다. Sweet Green의 ’Chicken Pesto Parm Bowl’, Panera의 ’Turkey Chili’ 그리고는 메인, 아웃백의 ‘투움바 소스 with steak’, 올리브 가든의 ‘페투치니 알프레도 파스타‘처럼 스테디한 메뉴들을 소개했고 디저트로는 크리스피 크림의 ‘Glazed Donuts’, 맥도날드의 ‘Strawbery Banana Smoothies’ 이것들을 다 모아놓으니 완벽한것 같기도 한데, 어느 한켠으로는뭔가 찜찜한것 같기도 하다. 여튼 오랜만에 재미있는 잡지였음. #copycat #foodmagazine

The word “paella” actually refers to the wide, shallow pan in which the dish is traditionally cooked. The dish itself takes its name from the pan, rather than the other way around. Dietro Elysium c’è una famiglia, la madre Jenny Migliorelli e il figlio Alessio Iaci, due grandi appassionati di pizza napoletana. Alessio in particolare è interessato alla cucina, si iscrive a un corso per diventare pizzaiolo con la scuola del Gambero Rosso, poi comincia a lavorare in una pizzeria gourmet. Vista la sua passione e il suo interesse, la mamma sceglie di investire sulla sua professione, trasformandolo in un business, un locale romano. Per supportarli in questa nuova, non semplice, avventura, scelgono un partner consulente, Valentino Tafuri, noto pizzaiolo dell’area campana, proprietario della pizzeria 3voglie a Battipaglia. Dunque in tavola non troverete la pizza romana ma un formato di pizza studiato insieme, “volevamo creare una pizza particolare” ci spiega Jenny “cercavamo di differenziarci dall’offerta di massa”. Da qui Tafuri lavora su “una ruota di carro napoletana con la croccantezza di una pizza romana, quando la mangi avverti il sapore del pane e ne senti il suono” ha spiegato. La romanità è presente in alcuni ingredienti e combinazioni, a partire da un impasto realizzato con biga Giorilli, sedici ore di prefermento, ventiquattro ore di maturazione e diverse tipologie di topping. 🔸️Green Basil Leaves🔸️ Still in green mood, these are a few of my basil leaves shots I took while making pesto pasta the other day for April @foodartproject Inspired by the incredibly talented @bealubas and her take of photographing raw ingredients like green ingredients and also inspired by my dear friend @charlielovestobake when it comes to finding the mood and shadows. What do you think of the light? How does it change when taking the photography from a different angle? I always use natural light, and here, of course, I used my Macro lens.
