This year, I jumped into action with the Red Cross and provided second-line support at fire scenes as a DAT member. Before this, my encounters with firefighters were mainly through the TV screen. Remember that one time I saw them rescuing a duckling trapped under a manhole cover? Well, being at the fire scene this time was a whole new ball game. You start noticing the little details that never make it to TV – the smudges of ash on their faces, the scattered debris on the ground, even the quirky holes in people's pants! It's tough work, but so courageous. I'm thrilled to contribute my part. And just last week, I was graced with an invitation to Bethany and Brian's wedding – he's a firefighter, she's a doctor. Their love? Absolutely infectious! It's hard to put into words how perfect they are together. Seriously, they're like something out of a movie! And while no photo can truly capture their magic, I'm hoping their wedding photos are filled with artsy, one-of-a-kind shots. Here are a few of my favorites from their special day!
