Well that was fun πŸ€ͺ We made raw energy balls live and yes this is what it’s like here 75% of the time πŸŽͺπŸ€Ήβ€β™€οΈ Save this and make them for yourself! Recipe below: 2 Cups Rolled Oats 1 cup of chocolate chips 1 cup of flaxseeds ground 1 cup of peanut butter. 1 set cup of honey or maple syrup. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract Combine all ingredients and place in the fridge for one hour. Roll into balls and enjoy. Perfect for breastfeeding, pregnant or just hangry mamas πŸ₯°. First time breaking out the crockpot for the season & making my all time favorite CASHEW CHICKEN wraps!! GF & healthy of course πŸ˜‰ . Who else got their crockpot's out for this rainy weekend? . This recipe is great for game day food or double up to give you and your family lunch or dinner for the next day too!!! . Ingredients: . -2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces -1/4 cup tapioca flour or arrowroot flour (regularflour if your not going gluten free) -1/2 tsp black pepper -2 Tbsp ghee or butter -2 green onions, chopped (white parts and green parts separated) -2 Tbsp -organic tomato paste - -1 Tbsp palm sugar, coconut sugar, or stevia (what I used) -1/2 tsp fresh ginger, minced, or 1/4 tsp dried ginger -1 Tbsp sesame oil -2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar -3 Tbsp coconut aminos or braggs aminos -1 pinch red pepper flakes -1/2 tsp sea salt -1/2 cup cashews . Directions: . 1) In a bag, combine the black pepper and flour. Add the chicken and jostle the bag to coat the meat. In a skillet heat the oil (lard, ghee, coconut, or avocado), shake off excess tapioca flour, and cook the chicken for a few minutes on medium-high heat. 2) In a bowl, combine all other ingredients (except for the green parts of the onion and cashews) 3) Put the chicken and sauce into a crockpot. Experimented with chocolate chia seed pudding for breakfast today. Not my fave, but still decent every once in a while. If you have a texture issue with food… def not for you! 1 tbsp coco powder (I used cacao) 3/4 tsp maple syrup 1/8 tsp cinnamon 6 tbsp almond milk 1/8 tsp vanilla extract Salt to taste (I didn’t use any) 2 tbsp chia seeds Mix together and let sit in fridge overnight. 159 calories #chiaseeds #hungryasamother

I cannot wait for this Tuscan chicken soup to be done it smells amazing!!! Crockpot Challenge Day 3 πŸ—“ Slow Cooker Tuscan Chicken Stew Ingredients ➑️6-8 boneless chicken thighs ➑️2 carrots peeled and sliced ➑️2 stalks of celery sliced ➑️1 small-medium onion diced ➑️2 cloves garlic minced ➑️2 medium tomatoes diced ➑️12 baby potatoes left whole or cut in half ➑️1 ΒΎ cup chicken stock ➑️1 tablespoon tomato paste optional! ➑️2 tablespoon white wine ➑️1 teaspoon fennel seeds crushed with side of knife ➑️½ teaspoon salt ➑️1 sprig of fresh rosemary Just Before Serving: ➑️¼ cup water ➑️2 tablespoons cornstarch (or 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder) ➑️1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar To Serve ➑️chopped parsley ➑️bread Instructions Toss chicken, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, tomatoes, potatoes, chicken stock, tomato paste, wine, fennel seeds, salt and rosemary into the slow cooker. Cook on the lowest setting for 4-6 hours. During the last 30 minutes of cook time, combine the corn starch with the water and mix until no lumps remain and add to the slow cooker along with the balsamic vinegar. Turn heat to high, and cook for 30 additional minutes, until slightly thickened. Transfer chicken thighs to a clean bowl and shred with two forks or an electric hand mixer. Return to the stew and mix in. Remove the rosemary and serve.

How excited would you be to eliminate thinking about one meal a day? Cooking for my doula clients has been a huge part of birth work I didn’t expectβ€” but one that feels so fulfilling for me. Being able to integrate my passion for nutrition with supporting pregnant + postpartum families (and my β€˜acts of service’ love language) has brought me so much joy in my role as a doula AND has surprisingly been one of the most important factors in ensuring the client feels taken care of. Even if we know what/how we should be eating, execution takes energy and time that most new parents or parents with older children don’t have (I know this first hand)! @loveofalittleone and I love babies, but we always aim to focus our support, physical and emotional, at the parents so that they can best take care of themselves + their new family member. #HungryAsAMother
