Bendahan Filé de salmão fresco Um quarto de xícara de óleo 2 colheres de mel uma colher de mostarda 3-4 dentes de alho esmagados Meia xícara de salsa picada e coentro Sal, pimenta preta Limão em fatias finas Aqueça o forno a 180 graus. Corte o filé de salmão em pedaços de cerca de 4-5 cm. Corte cada pedaço em 3 “tiras” com a borda permanecendo presa. Faça uma trança com as tiras (claro que não é necessário e você pode usar o salmão como está). Misture todos os ingredientes do molho. Coloque 2 rodelas de limão no centro do papel manteiga e cubra-as com a trança. Despeje o molho sobre o peixe e espalhe por todo o peixe com um pincel ou com as mãos. Dobre cada lado do papel manteiga em direção ao peixe e amarre as duas pontas com fio de linho. Repita a montagem do prato para cada uma das “tranças”. Red Wine Braised Short Ribs🍷🥩🔥 by @calwillcookit These right here are one of my all time favorite things to eat! They’re tender, packed with flavor, simply just sensational. Although they might seem complicated, I promise it’s pretty simple! FULL RECIPE ⬇️ INGREDIENTS - ~3 lbs boneless chuck short ribs (bone-in works as well) - Extra virgin olive oil - Seasonings: Salt, pepper and garlic powder - Beef tallow (can use any high smoke point oil or fat) - 1.5-2 cups celery chopped - 1.5-2 cups carrots chopped - 1 white onion (medium diced) - 4-6 tbsp fresh minced garlic - 2 tbsp tomato paste - 1 750 ml bottle of red wine (cabernet) - 3-4 cups beef broth - 4-5 springs of fresh thyme - 3 springs of fresh rosemary - 1 dried bay leaf - Chopped parsley (for garnish) Garlic-Parm Potato Purée (Full recipe is in the comments) Note(s): Measurements are estimated, adjust ingredients to your liking. DIRECTIONS 1. Pat the short ribs dry, coat in olive oil and season generously on all sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder. 2. Get a large greased skillet going over medium high heat and sear the short ribs on all sides until you get a nice crust. Once done, set aside. 3. Get a dutch oven or any large oven-safe pan/pot going over medium heat. Add in some olive followed by your celery, carrots, onions and garlic. Season with salt and pepper then mix. Let sauté for a few minutes then clear a spot in the middle and add in the tomato paste. Mix that in tell everything is well combined then place your short ribs on top. Pour in the wine and beef broth untill the liquid covering the top of the short ribs. Add in the thyme, rosemary and bay leaf. Place the lid on and pop it in the oven at 325 for 2.5-3 hours or until the short ribs are fall apart tender. 4. Once the short ribs are done, turn off the oven & leave them in there while you make the garlic-parm potato puree. 5. Plate it up & ENJOY! 🙌🏻 Optional: Remove the short ribs, strain out the veggies & reduce the broth to make a sauce.

Sunday meal prep! -5 Ham, roasted red pepper, and Swiss cheese egg bakes for breakfasts! -Salads for lunches in my new super cute salad bowl from @elloproducts I am obsessed with this container! It has 5 compartments, a dressing cup, and a huge bottom bowl for lettuce and other veggies! -big batch of cooked veggie mix. The Problem and the Solution ✅ The issue I don’t necessarily perceive is ketogenic dieting. You see, the primary concern lies in the prescription of these diets without a genuine understanding of their implications. Let me illustrate with an example... Imagine you’re somewhat overweight, carrying a significant amount of body fat. Xenobiotics/toxins are STORED in fat. Now, you adopt a ketogenic diet in an effort to utilize this stored fat for energy - that is, to achieve fat loss. However, you may not realize that ketones are acidic and can lead to ketoacidosis. When our body detects a low pH or an acidic environment, it signals the kidneys to reabsorb certain substances while excreting others to maintain acid-base balance. In the scenario described above, you’ve essentially released stored xenobiotics, which are now circulating freely in the body and are reabsorbed into the bloodstream.
