Pouco sabia sobre o filme, apenas através de incontáveis encontros com a icónica fotografia da mão tatuada poisada no alpendre da casa; mão do protagonista Robert Mitchum; mão-epíteme do film noir. Harry Powell é um falso profeta, impostor eloquente, cruel assassino, incrivelmente misógino... Apesar disso, este pregador dissimulado emana um inegável e inebriante carisma, muito fruto do magnético Mitchum e da sua potente voz, falada e cantada. Não se torce por ele, mas deslumbra. Daffodils for my Dad on what would have been his 72nd birthday yesterday. . I miss talking to him and I miss his stories and his laugh and the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled. I miss the way he listened to both opera and Meatloaf at full volume and the way he taught me to do the Times cryptic crossword. I miss his collection of ties and the yellow jumper he wore and his nickname for me. . I just miss him. Grief seems to be hitting harder this year than it has for a while, even 8 years on, and that's ok. I'm letting myself feel it all. . I'm looking forward to February being over. It's a hard month, even though it's a short one. . - My beautiful glaze - Για τη βδομάδα που ξεκινάει θα βάλω σε ποστ, αυτή την κούπα. Διαφορετικό σχέδιο από όλες τις προηγούμενες, και γυαλωμα δικό μου !! Αυτό ήταν που με έκανε να χαρώ λίγο παραπάνω 🤍 Μια μείξη που στην τελική του μορφή βγάζει αυτό το λευκό που δεν είναι εντελώς καλυπτικο,αλλά αφήνει να φαίνονται οι λεπτομέρειες του πηλού.
