Vista #86 del 2024 Los tallos amargos (Fernando Ayala, 1956) Se manera magistral este noir argentino té hace explotar la cabeza, no solo por todas las ganancias estéticas propias del trabajo de Ayala, sino que también por una historia perfecta. Gasper (Carlos Cores) es un periodista, que está cansado y traumado de la mediocridad propia del periodismo de la época, el está esperando una labor que sea de proezas, que deje en manifiesto el “ideal heroico” propio de su profesión. Una noche conoce a un inmigrante, Liudas (Vassili Lambrinos), quienes le ofrece un negocio no muy limpio, pero que les hará generar altos ingresos. Ya una vez armado el negocio, una red de cuestionamientos caerá sobre la conciencia de Alfredo, lo que dará un giro inesperado en la historia. Es increíble la constitución de los hechos a lo largo de la película y cómo está constantemente aclimatando al espectador de manera angustiante, lo que hace que la historia de principio a fin nunca decaiga, es imposible reconocer un punto débil. Creo que una de mis partes favorita de la película es como Ayala trabaja la producción de insanidad mental tan propia del noir, todo esto no solo retratados a nivel técnico (planos o movimientos de cámara), sino que de igual modo en aspectos artísticos, con respecto a la producción artística de los espacios cerrados, claro ejemplo es el sueño de Alfredo, realmente esta escena es una maldita dinamita que es capaz de volar la cabeza de cualquier, sumo a este último hecho las sensaciones que produce el plot twist que corona la historia. Las actuaciones son increíbles , Cores y Lambrinos son espectaculares, toda esta representación de una amistad con aires enfermizos queda retratado de manera perfecta tras el lente de Ricardo Younis, y con la estridente música de Astor Piazzolla de fondo, para afianzar cualquier momento de la película. “Los tallos amargos” es una obra maestra del cine mundial, que ha sido rescatada por cinéfilos como Fernando Martín Peña y Eddie Muller, entre otros. #cineargentino #cinema #cinematography #filmnoir #filmnoirphotography #argentina #astorpiazzolla #fernandoayala

Chinatown is a film noir masterwork that pays homage to the genre’s classical period yet simultaneously exceeds it in every possible way. This is Roman Polanski at his best. It's rare that I see a film that gets everything right yet Chinatown delivers. Its cast is incredible, its cinematography is immaculate, its musical score is impressive, and its narrative is impeccable with a conclusion that is impossibly uncomfortable. I can see why it has garnered such praise over the years and secured a spot on Sight and Sound's Greatest Films of All Time list.
