One of the best views of the harbor can still be found from the Library grounds. Today, those trees are gone, but you can still sit at a bench and take in all the beauty there. I also love the fact that this card was made specifically for the Boynton McKay Drug Co. to likely sell at their pharmacy on Main Street. As many know, later the pharmacy would become a nice little restaurant for breakfast. Now, it’s currently being re-developed again for something new in that space.

Good morning. POV: you creep outside before dawn, careful not to wake the dogs and head for the woods. The sun is barely starting to rise and the trees are black against her pale peach light. You head past the grove around the bend and through the fiddlehead glen to the babbling brook lined with stones where you sit on a fallen tree and breathe. With a shy little rustle a toad hops along and burrows himself in the mud. If you lose your way for a moment, a hopeful tree points the direction you should follow. You head back west up the bank, the direction of home, in the morning sun. Back at the cottage you put the kettle on for a hot cuppa tea and dig into some Cryptid lore. You sigh with appreciation.
