This MOC is a recreation of the Scottish castle Eilean Donan at micro scale using only the parts from 21041-1 - Great Wall of China. Instructions are available for free on Rebrickable. It was a challenging build because of the very limited parts! The light bluish grey in particular was only used internally in the original set, and most of the volume available was from big awkward 12 long bricks. This meant I had to get creative, and use some tricky techniques to make it work (I will show this in more detail later). I started this MOC a number of years ago when I was newer at MOC building, and got frustrated with the angled section an the front, so much so that it sat on a shelf for over two years before I got around to finishing it, but I'm glad I did. #lego #legomoc #legobuilding #castle #alternatebuild #microscale

Some buildings and ideas i am preparing for the Evangelion Diorama. I've finally have figured how it will be composed, it will be made up of three parts, one for each Eva. At the same time, I am working to a soft restyling for the mechs too, but the legs joint has to remain big and strong enough to support the action poses. 🇮🇹Alcuni edifici e idee che sto preparando per il Diorama di Evangelion. Finalmente ho realizzato come costruirlo, sarà formato da tre parti, una per ogni Eva. MACRO SET #2🦠 Over the past couple weeks I’ve been learning about macrophotography, I have figured out my lighting setup for a smooth diffused flash but what I am now interested in is the stacking method. The next advancement for me is finding a way to quickly slide my camera towards a subject for continuous shooting so that I can combine the photos to achieve a full focused subject. I have an idea for an invention that will let me efficiently do this while on the go so if I follow through with that I will definitely post it. Macrophotography consistently is showing me new details about incredibly hard to notice ecosystems that we live around and see every day but never take a second to look closely. The set up that I have settled on is a Helios—44 35mm vintage lens with 3 tube extenders and a pretty long Sony e mount adapter. This increases the focal length significantly and even more so reduces the focusing range. I went to hobby lobby and parts to build a cheap foldable diffuser that fits in my backpack, it is waterproof, and quick to set up. I also am using an old beat up cannon flash from my local camera shop but the 1/16 mode is nearly good enough most of the time. That if anything will need an upgrade. Ils sont juste trop mignons point barre 🐧 Ce gros projet a pour but de participer à une phase de votes sur Lego Ideas pour tenter de devenir un vrai Lego (il faut 10 000 votes donc laisse tomber 😂) Il s'agit d'une représentation d'un aquarium pour pingouins dans un zoo ! 🤩 On peut y retrouver tout un tas d'éléments et de secrets !
