This is the bike that started the fast gravel category. A road bike with room for larger tires. Everything I’ve ever wanted in a bike before this became an industry norm. Equipped with full @shimanogravel GRX Di2 electronic shifting and Ultegra carbon wheels; 50mm deep rear and 36mm deep front with 35mm wide @panaracer_world Gravelking slicks. The @pro_bikegear Stealth Curved Team saddle supports my backside, and a 40cm wide PRO PLT Ergo Carbon bar with a 120mm PRO Vibe stem at the controls. To top my bar setup is a @ridefarr Carbon Aero Bolt-On and a @framesandgear mount to support my @garmincycling GPS and @olight.ca light. It took a lot of trial and error to find a mount that nestled in the Farr Aero Bolt-On. If the bar mounting was only 10mm wider, it would offer more flexibility. But I’m happy with this setup. The complete bike with XTR pedals, @arundelbike bottle cages weighs in at a respectable 18.4lbs. Am Samstag Nachmittag kam mir eine spontane Idee, die meine Pläne für den Sonntag komplett veränderten. Wir starten (mit noch nicht ganz klarer Teilnehmerzahl) heute Nacht und rauschen über die reschenpassroute durch bis nach Meran, fast schon meiner zweiten Heimat. Ich bin wirklich ganz stolz auf alle Teilnehmer. Viele noch nie mehr als 100-200km geradelt, viele aber auch geübte Radler die zb. beim letzten communityride #20CR23 schon dabei waren, und auch einige die nicht mehr oder noch nicht so fit sind aber zumindest eine Teilstrecke mitradeln. Wie ich unserem vor Motivation nur so strotzenden Chat entnehme sind alle beseelt von dem Gefühl, dass wir das gemeinsam schon schaffen können. Auf was ich schon auch ein wenig stolz bin, ist, dass noch keiner der Teilnehmer nach einem Gepäcktransfer oder supportfahrzeug gefragt hat 😁 sondern alle schön brav ihr Zeug selbst mitnehmen. Übrigens Meine erste Tour seit Juli 2023 als ich mit @mariusquast nach Venedig bin (auf dem zweiten Bild sehr ihr, dass ich dieses Jahr noch nicht ganz 200km gemacht hab aufm Radl… das wird also interessant für den Hintern) Verlinkt hab ich das storyhighlight für den 20CR24, da kriegt ihr meine Stories aber auch reposts mit. ⚫️An alle Teilnehmer: wir sehen uns in wenigen Stunden ⚫️An alle die zu Hause bleiben: auch da ist es schön.
