Day 1 松山>今治 出發當日，我們按計畫去到道後溫泉附近的觀光中心把行李寄存。迎接我們的正是昨天的那位女職員，我們跟他說要把我們的行李寄存16日，她表示沒有這個服務，而且表現得很驚訝（Nani！？)，說他們只能夠存放1-2日。這時，昨天的男職員就加入對話，女職員跟男職員說我們要存放行李達16日，男職員即時也表示十分驚訝（Nani！？ x2），還說費用很高，而且還指著一張紙，上面寫住行李暫存一日服務。。。Eko跟他們再次確認之後，我們都覺得呢兩條友真係TVB扮嘢王冠軍。。明明昨天還答應我們可以存放行李，今日就扮到第一次見我們一樣。。。好嘢好嘢，真是萬分佩服，扮野王非佢地莫屬 SUPER。。。 我們唯有呢晒hea衝去最原本個存放點擺行李，再衝去Giant攞單車。好在Gaint的職員哥哥同靚女非常好人地幫我們安裝貨架及一些accessories。最終我們只是遲了一個多小時出發。 第一天的路線非常短，只有48km，大概是大圍去大尾篤來回的路程多少少。在環島的旅程中第一次見到海，就大驚小怪地大叫有feel。。。影相都不忘要扮Sakamoto Ryoma！（彌太郎腔） 今次環島有一個很大的發現，就是道之站（道の駅 Roadside Station)。這些道之站通常是在Town同Town中間的公路旁，主要讓揸車和踩單車的人休息及補給，同時也有一些旅遊資訊及期間限定的節目情報張貼在壁佈板上。它們概括地讓旅客掌握這個縣/市/鎮的風貌。我們很喜歡逛這些道之站，因為每個道之站都有些特色，甚至乎有些特產只會在道之站出售。我見有些本地人都會揸車去道之站購物。 這次單車環島，官方有一個玩法，就是叫環島的人到不同的道之站集印仔。每個圖案都有那裡的特色。所以每次我去道之站第一件事就是“給印仔“。 在日本四國找素食餐廳很難，所以中午見到印度嘢就9衝入去食。印度餐一定有素！晚餐就找了一段時間才找到一間義大利餐廳有素。。基本上我們每餐都要花點時間去找素食餐廳。（利申：我不是食素。） 同場加映唔記得熄機入廁所痾尿。。。 #bikewander #shikoku #四国一周

🇧🇦 Día 12 Bosnia Herzegovina: de Metkovic a Mostar. Hoy retomo el viaje donde lo había dejado, cruzando la frontera hacia Bosnia y Hercegovina. La primera frontera de verdad, ya que no forma parte de la UE. Me tuvieron 20 minutos esperando para echarle un ojo a la documentación pero no fue ningún problema, supongo que con otros pasaportes hubiera sido mucho más difícil. Ya camino de Mostar sigo por una carretera que va encajonada entre dos paredes de roca y junto al río Neretva. Justo antes de llegar a Mostar empezó a diluviar y acabé casi empapado. Por suerte, llegué al alojamiento que hoy había contratado, quería ver la ciudad y nada mejor que pernoctar cerca de su centro historico. After a terrible night's sleep, we were torn as to what to do! No one was enthusiastic for a day of hanging out at the petrol station, but it was a long way to the first spot where we were sure we had protected camping and we were going to be pedalling into a very strong headwind. Eventually, we decided to go for it. @rich_tb suggested we form a pelotón and take it in turns to do 3km at the front. I think it was the only way we got through the day...progress was slow and only got slower as the wind got stronger! We were hit with brutal winds from the side blowing us sideways but somehow we muddled through. We were so grateful when the police station came into sight 78km later and we realised we have made it! To add insult to injury, the next morning we absolutely flew to the border with a beautiful tail wind! We crossed back into Chile...for the final time this trip and initially we decided to head south towards Puerto Natales with a plan to hitchhike back with backpacks and do some hiking in Torres del Paine. Into the Bissau-Guinean jungle 💚 We did a little detour on our way to Guinée Conakry to explore Cantanhez National Park and to try to meet wild chimpanzees as there are a few hundreds living in the area. We arrived at Jemberem after a day on beautiful pistes. The next morning at 6 am we were in the rainforest looking for chimpanzees! Thanks to our guide, @mamadu478 we found them pretty quickly. It was really amazing to see them on their palm trees waking up peacefully. But the most incredible is that the next day, on our way to the border, we heard some chimpanzees from the bike. So we went in the forest and we were able to see a whole family! This encounter was really special and unexpected, I felt so lucky, and I can't wait to see more wildlife in the next countries. WE BIKED FOR 6 MONTHS IN SOUTH AFRICA 🥳 Let’s discuss the country's reputation for crime… Yes, it’s here, and yes, it can be dangerous. The good news is that crime is confined to localised areas, making it easy to avoid. As a result, we were never threatened or robbed and felt safe 99.99% of the time. Small towns are usually quite safe, but cities contain lots of roads and suburbs to avoid. Make sure to ask the local people where to go, and where to avoid, and it’s unlikely you’ll have any problems. 👍🏻 The off-road biking adventures in the country feel endless. There are dirt tracks in every direction and the backdrops are unbelievably dramatic! We couldn’t believe the places we got to bike and camp through - it was a new adventure every day. 💎 South Africa is home to some of the most pristine environments on Earth, and the national parks are truly epic places. Kruger is famous for a reason: the sheer scale, raw beauty, and diversity of animals are incredible. But the dozen other NPs we visited were virtually as good, including Table Mountain! If you want your mind blown by rare plants and their unique adaptations, visit Richtersveld, the only arid biodiversity hotspot on earth! If you’re into good food and wine, you will be in heaven in South Africa. The region around Cape Town is where to take your taste buds on a date - it’s a foodie's dream. The best wines we sampled were in Stellenbosch. Don’t miss a trip to Lesotho, the landlocked country in South Africa, as it has a completely different culture and traditions. The entire country is at altitude, with great views everywhere, and the Basotho people ride around on horses wearing blankets! What’s not to like? CYCLING IRAN WEEK I 🇮🇷 🔥New Episode 🎬 (link in the bio👆🏽) We’ve been struggling for months whether or not we should cycle in Iran. Our plan B was to take a flight to Central Asia, but eventually, after we had cycled all the way to the border and saw Iran so close, we felt we couldn’t miss the adventure, so despite the many issues we decided to apply for the visa and enter this mysterious country. We are now very excited to share with you our first episode of us cycling Persia! We had never felt such an anxiety about entering another country during our trip, but of course, there are several reasons for it. Despite the unfortunate news we usually get from this part of the world, this enables us to continue to follow the ancient Silk Road to the east. We entered from the northwestern border town Norduz. Our first target is Tabriz and its famous bazaar, but getting there we were faced with some surprises. 📍Miliwane Wildlife Reserve. Miliwane is the first wildlife reserve that we have been able to cycle around! They don’t have predotors or large mammals so its safe to ride around oh bikes. We spent a day riding around with the bags off our bikes, but instead of seeing many animals we mostly just hiked our bikes. 😅
