When can we do this again? You *know* I had to get pictures in my Trick or Treat tee with the nephews and Donald in the Main Street windows! πππ I had the absolute best birthday! It flew by, and it made me want to keep celebrating π We had breakfast at 'Ohana at the Polynesian, went back to the hotel to change, then after the worst of the rain ended, we headed to Magic Kingdom! We then rode a couple of rides and walked through some shops, got our Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party wristbands and candy bags, had dinner at Skipper Canteen, then enjoyed the party for the rest of the night! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of me in my outfit change in the daylight. But should hopefully have some pictures to share soon from after dark! Of course we make new memories every trip, but one of my new favorites has to be that after looking Peak Cuteβ’οΈ in the morning, and surviving a massive rain storm and a 3 hour wait for a bus, @alyyyfornia and I just said βscrew itβ and both put on our comfiest clothes to go to her birthday dinner in Epcot. How did I almost forget about the first day of the #DisneyDuckWeek Challenge hosted by @thomaskinkade & @sprinkledbymagic ?!? Day one is Donald Duck - my #1 for life! This was the BEST character interaction I've ever had. Donald about lost his mind when he saw that I was head to toe in Donald gear (not seen are my Donald Duck Loungefly bag that I was carrying & the 3D printed Donald Magicband cover). I don't normally do these types of challenges, but this is right up my alley! Give me all of the Disney Ducks!!
Weβve had several rainy afternoons in Florida this week. My park bag always includes poncho for this very reason. I usually donβt carry an umbrella because lightning capital and metal doesnβt mix. βοΈ βοΈβοΈ And while I love wearing Mickey ears, Iβve found in the summer that a hat works better for me. After a lot of thought, we decided to visit our happy place today & we were glad we did. The safety measures, lower crowds due to the implementation of the reservation system, and cast members doing their part of sanitizing / enforcing wearing masks and social distance measures made for an overall great day. We even lucked out with a day that the Florida heat didnβt go over 90 degrees. Make decisions that you feel comfortable with.
