Depression to me, is a long-term series of unexamined traumatic events that lead us feeling disappointed and let down by the world and by humans in general... We develop a "glum" view, where we no longer see the point of partaking in life, because what's the point...? "It'll just happen to me all over again" "My experiences won't be different this time" "They can only hurt me in the end" Fear & anxiety can prevent us from moving out of this horrible despairing vortex of minimised self-belief, stopping us from becoming the strong & inspiring person we know we ought to be and can be!
