Bubba is a 1.5yr old neutered male, who has had a pretty rough life so far, been through a rescue and two subsequent owners, now being surrendered again. The current owner has only had him a few days and is extremely overwhelmed with the energy, anxiousness and new responsibility of owning a high energy dog. Bubba is extremely active, with a lot of drive for birds, no official training. Misha has crossed the rainbow bridge this week. 🩵🌈🐾 Misha came into rescue as a senior due to his mom losing housing in Bozeman, MT 2 years ago. He lucked out and hit the back of with a senior couple that lives in Canada. He was 13 when he came into the rescue and loved his walks and fetch! He made his humans take him on 3 walks a day. I told them he was keeping them young too!! Scout is a sweet akc registered 6yr old neutered male GSP looking for his active forever home. He is currently being fostered near Spokane, WA He is an owner surrender due to them having multiple medical problems and being unable to give him what he needs. He needs slow introductions to other dogs and willneed time to adjust to other dogs in the home in close spaces, he loves fetch and the water. He is house trained. 3 years and 3 days ago I had to say goodbye to my very best friend. I think her loss was the hardest because I figured we had several years of adventures and love left together. But, that just wasn’t how things turned out. This little cutie was willing to do anything with me once I gained rapport and earned her trust. She went from the very worst of circumstances to (I hope) the very best of circumstances. She meant the world to me and I tried every day to show her that with love, treats, the fluffiest beds that money could buy, and the most amazing wardrobe ~ most of which had to be cut to let her chest hair fly free. Welcome Banjo to the rescue! He is approx 3yrs old. He was a stray in Southern, UT. We pulled him from a small shelter that runs on a volunteer bases. The dog intro video was at the shelter. Not much is known about him, but time will tell! 😀 Banjo will need to be neutered, updated on vaccines and microchipped prior to being adopted. Love these mornings. People are worried about adopting a senior due to not being active enough... well 3 of these dogs are over the age of 10 and easily run 4+ miles in my 40min walk. EVERYDAY! Ruby is such a hard charger still, AT THE AGE OF 14... she had to prove that to me by cutting her leg on something this morning. Didn't slow her down a bit. Also has a mass on her left front leg that keeps bleeding in the snow, thus the bootie. This is Roxie. She will be 2 in April. Currently in Montana She is looking for her new home or a foster home where someone is home more often than not as she has developed a seizure disorder. Her meds are currently being adjusted, but ideally would like to get her into a home where someone can be with her most of the time, at least until we get her sezuires under control. She has some hunting training, but has not been a family dog, as she was primarily an outdoor dog. She lived outside previously, but hasn’t had any accidents inside for over a week. She knows how to use a dog door now and self-regulates. She sleeps in a crate at night and is in one anytime we leave the house. She whines some after we put her in, but settles. She is VERY treat motivated and is learning to sit to wait her turn when treats are passed out. She’s a pretty low-key sweet girl who has no problem with other dogs. She likes to play and has played some with our other dogs. She hasn’t been around kids that we know of, other than the high school-aged ones she lived with previously. She’s still got a lot of puppy in her and will need some training. She likes to put her paws on the counters and has started to learn not to do that. She is starting to know her name better and will come to you inside when called.
