Discover “Le monde a changé”, a group show at @rossicontemporary. The exhibition brings together sixteen Belgian and international artists, eight of whom are based at the gallery and eight others who have been invited for the occasion. A dialogue is proposed between these different works. Saying the world has changed is a simple observation. Each of us, depending on our geographical and mental age and degree of optimism, will lean towards one consideration or another. In perpetual change, between slow advances and sudden crises, our world continues to exist. Détail d’une des œuvres de l’artiste belge multidisciplinaire @jfoctave que j’ai eu le plaisir de voir chez @rossicontemporary. Le travail de cet artiste se révèle ici sous deux visions distinctes qui se complètent harmonieusement. La première sous la forme d’une Installation immersive dans une pièce exiguë, triangulaire, qui devient le théâtre d'une installation saisissante, son travail associe sans hiérarchie l'écriture, le dessin et la peinture, offrant une fusion unique de mémoire, réalité et fiction. Pour cette exposition l’artiste a transformé les pages de son journal de dessin, réalisées sur une courte période, en une expérience visuelle unique. Les dessins, créés sur tablette, sont imprimés au format A4, placés dans des feuilles plastiques et habilement disposés sur deux murs de la galerie. Cette juxtaposition crée une immersion dans le monde intime de l'artiste, où textes et illustrations se fusionnent pour donner vie à ses pensées les plus profondes. La seconde est composée de dessin choisi par le galeriste qui offre une perspective distinctive en exposant de véritables dessins au marqueur ou au bic bleu. Ces œuvres comprennent des textes percutants et des portraits hyper réalistes. Under the title 'Deep Down Inside', @delprat_nicolas's third solo exhibition @micheleschoonjansgallery in Brussels is a selection of eight previously never shown paintings from the artist's three most recent series of the last years. "Nicolas Delprat's relationship with painting is both contemporary and timeless. When I chose the paintings for the exhibition with the artist in his studio, I was particularly struck not only by the successive images they evoke in turn, but also by the myriad of almost palpable emotions they arouse in the visitor.
