Sejarah Kewalian Imam Junaid al-Baghdadi Bagi kalangan umat Muslim yang akrab dengan dunia tasawuf, tentu nama Syekh Abul Qasim Junaid al-Baghdadi sudah tak lagi asing di telinga mereka. Bagaimana tidak, ia begitu terkenal akan kewaliannya. Sampai-sampai, setiap kali membaca hadrah (pembacaan Surat Al Fatihah sebelum melakukan amalan mujahadah) para salik—sebutan bagi orang yang telah menempuh jaan tarekat—selalu mengkhususkan penyebutan nama Abul Qasim Junaid Al-Baghdadi tepat setelah penyebutan nama Suthanul Auliya' Syekh Abdul Qodir Al Jilani, sang raja wali. . Lantas, bagaimanakah sejarah kewaliannya hingga ia begitu masyhur, terkenal sebagai kekasih Allah? . Ternyata, ia sebenarnya merupakan seorang pegulat tangguh tak terkalahkan pada masanya. Ia juga sangat ditakuti oleh para lawannya. Hingga suatu ketika, sang raja pada masa itu mengadakan sayembara bahwa siapa saja yang dapat mengalahkan Abul Qasim akan mendapatkan hadiah yang begitu banyak. . Sayembara tersebut akhirnya terdengar juga oleh seorang lelaki paruh baya di salah satu sudut Kota Baghdad. Ia adalah seorang keturunan Rasulullah Muhammad sallallahu 'alaihi wasalam yang hidupnya begitu memprihatinkan. Sudah beberapa hari terakhir, keluarganya tak makan. Usianya juga sudah cukup tua, kira-kira 65 tahun. Namun, hal itu tak menciutkan nyalinya untuk mengikuti sayembara melawan Abul Qasim. Karena ia memiliki cara tersendiri. . Hari pertarungan telah tiba. Hingga saat itu, anehnya tidak ada seorang pun yang berani mendaftar melawan Abul Qasim. Maklum, seluruh penduduk kota sudah mengerti kehebatan Abul Qasim dalam bergulat. Mereka lebih memilih nyawa mereka daripada harus mati konyol demi memimpikan hadiah sayembara dari raja. Berbeda dengan lelaki dzurriyah rasul itu, ia tak gentar sama sekali. Demi keluarga yang sudah beberapa hari tak makan, ia rela mengorbankan nyawanya. . Saat ia mulai beradu pandang dengan Abul Qasim, saat melakukan penghormatan salam sebelum bertarung ia berbisik kepada Abul Qasim: . "Wahai Abul Qasim, aku tahu bahwa engkau adalah pegulat terhebat di kota ini. dan aku pun yakin bahwa aku tak akan mampu mengalahkanmu. . ⬇️⬇️⬇️
