Fast forward to the end ⏩️ It was a good weekend! We had fun, we learned a few things, made new friends (duh), survived the heat, and came in 3️⃣rd! I have many people to thank such as Emily & Ryan of @nouveauhealthwellness & @nikkinick01 for nursing my cuts and bruises. I’ll admit that I sometimes have this reckless abandon switch 🙈…& let’s just say I needed some serious help from these guys all weekend! 🙏🏼 Funny story: I couldn’t find an empty wall to practice handstand push ups on, so naturally, we found a tree. Melissa did it just fine a few seconds before, what could go wrong? Well, I kicked up, & you guys, I missed the stupid tree 🤣 and scraped up my whole left leg! Theeeeen I proceeded to vomit a few minutes later, probably from the heat and chugging whatever I could get down 😬 it was a wonderful hour to say the least but got through it and I can laugh about it now. WOW, what a weekend! Evergreen P&O had the privilege of sponsoring the 2024 Seadog Summer Showdown (SSS) in sunny Jupiter, Florida. Kelli and Adam Davis, owners of Seadog CrossFit along with Anthony Longo Founding President and Director of Warrior's Choice Foundation (WCF) hosted their 4th annual Summer Showdown to raise money for the WCF. WCF is a non-profit organization on a mission to help combat veterans suffering from PTSD and mental illness through their service dog program and wellness retreats. This year the SSS became a licensed CrossFit event and offered several Adaptive Athlete divisions. Talk about an amazing venue with such a worthy cause, not to mention, the greatest hosts, sponsors, volunteers, and all other supporters.
