✂️ How to Sew Undulating Pintucks ✂️ Right now, one of my favourite blouse patterns to sew is the Tilly and the Buttons Marnie Blouse. This is a super cute dress and blouse pattern with lots of pretty details included such as a frill sleeve, a ruffle collar and those all-important and super pretty undulating pin tucks. At first glance, these can look a little scary since they do require a bit more time and care but don’t be put off or tempted to leave them out. These cute little tucks can elevate this blouse and once you know how to sew them you’ll want to add them to everything as they aren’t as difficult as they look and are so satisfying once done – I promise!

🌷TULIP SKIRT 🌷from @melodieloth.couture I had the pleasure of being a tester for this skirt pattern🙂 It was a true joy for me to sew this skirt. The instruction book was very precise, and the accompanying video was extremely helpful during the sewing process. And the result is amazing✨ The skirt is very comfortable and, due to its romantic and unique design, it’s simply stunning!!! One day, while wearing it out shopping, I was even stopped by women who loved the design. They were quite surprised when I told them I made it myself! 😊 I highly recommend this pattern. LoHi is my first zero waste make. The name stands for low/high hemline! It is a fluid and chic summer dress. Easy to dress up or down for all occasions. The LOHI pattern was designed by Cindy Bithell @the_sew_sew and it is available in Issue No. 11 @taukomagazine I wanted to use the whole fabric and decided not to waste anything, so I added the frill at the end and made myself a scrunchie too. I was proud of myself for not having any scrap fabric left over. It’s partytime…. De nieuwe fibremood is uit🥳🥳🥳 Een hele boel nieuwe patronen én nieuwe stoffen. Ik mocht deze keer aan de slag met een stofje uit hun collectie. Ik koos voor een viscose jacquard in een prachtige groene kleur. De stof valt soepel en is zeer luchtig, ideaal voor jurken, rokken, blouses, tops. In het magazine wordt ze gebruikt voor de malia top. Ik koos voor de alix rok. Deze stond al even op mijn “te naaien-lijstje.” Alix is een basic midi rok met knopenpad en plooitjes. Blij met hoe de rok valt en en hoe snel die eigenlijk klaar was.
