【🇰🇷Korea-Japan Trip - Cloud with Sky🐕】 During the first two days in Korea 🇰🇷, we wanted to take the princesses 👩🏻👧🏻🧒🏻 to a Samoyed dog cafe in Hongdae. However, when we arrived at the entrance, we found out that only those above 11 years old are allowed in. This left the elder princess 👩🏻 devastated and in tears 😭. Afterward, I 👩🏻⚕️ tried everything to make up for it and finally discovered the Cloud with Sky 🐕☕️. This cafe is on the second floor of a building. When we entered, the dogs 🐕 inside got super excited and barked, scaring the second princess 👧🏻 and the youngest princess 🧒🏻. So, only the elder princess 👩🏻 and hubby 👨🏻💻 went in. The minimum spending requirement was a beverage, and they ordered orange and grapefruit carbonated drinks. The staff opened a compartment under the seats for guests to store their belongings. Then, they could play with the dogs 🐕. The cafe had various breeds, and the elder princess 👩🏻 particularly liked the Samoyed, while hubby 👨🏻💻 who loves Corgis was also satisfied. The dog-loving elder princess 👩🏻 was thrilled and happily interacted with each one, trying to pet and communicate with them. Although the dogs were excited initially, they eventually settled down and lay gently on the ground. Every time a new guest arrived, they would bark excitedly, then rest quietly afterward. Hubby 👨🏻💻 mentioned that while it seemed fun, it was a bit pitiful as they didn't have much space to move around, and the staff only reluctantly cleaned up after them when they went to the bathroom. 【🇰🇷Korea-Japan Trip - Cheongsudang 🎋】 On this day, we had Japanese ramen 🍜 for dinner. In the evening, hubby and I could have some alone time to celebrate his birthday 🎂. While we were in Ikseon-dong, we wanted to visit Cheongsudang🎋 to see what we saw in the online photos, since they were stunning. However, our schedule was tight in Ikseon-dong, so we only went to Nakwon. Luckily, there's a Cheongsudang in Yeonnam-dong as well! Cheongsudang🎋 is already captivating from the entrance. The café ☕️ is nestled behind trees, with decorative laterns by the steps, giving it a retro vibe. There's also a pond and an artificial waterfall outside 💦, and the sound of water makes the atmosphere elegant. The café has two floors – downstairs is where they sell drinks and desserts, and there are seats available. Upstairs has more seating and a view of the surroundings. We ordered drinks and the eye-catching green tea cake, which looks like a miniature landscape. The cake looks exactly like its appearance, unique, though the taste is just average. Upstairs has a quieter ambiance, while downstairs offers a view of the pond and waterfall, creating a comfortable and warm feeling. Hubby and I spent a very comfortable time here. Cheongsudang🎋 has three branches in total, including the Yeonnam-dong branch mentioned before, the Ikseon-dong branch, and the one on Gangnam-gu Garosugil. In the bustling neighborhood of Yeonnam-dong in Seoul, there's a cafe called Greem Cafe that fits this description. The three princesses 👩🏻👧🏻🧒🏻 and I👩🏻⚕️ definitely couldn't miss it! From the outside, it's not easy to notice, but the moment you step in, it feels like jumping into a comic book world 🖤🤍. All the furnishings and decorations are a mix of white 🤍 and black 🖤, creating a flat visual effect. Here, every customer needs to order a drink 🍹 before taking photos. Since it's black and white themed, there are many black sesame drinks, and the decorations are also unique. The princesses 👩🏻👧🏻🧒🏻 are already satisfied with their sweet drinks. In addition to hand-brewed drinks, there are bottled drinks and cakes available. 【🇰🇷 Korea-Japan Trip - Nakwon☕️🛤️】 The traditional Korean Hanok village of Ikseon-dong is a highly distinctive place. Most of the Hanok (traditional Korean houses) here have been transformed into restaurants 🍴 or cafes ☕️, and each one has its own unique charm 🤩. We visited this unique cafe called Nakwon. The term "station" in its Kodean name refers to the coffee shop's theme. In the center of the cafe, there's a train track 🛤️ with street lamps illuminating the area, creating a beautiful atmosphere. Inside, there's even a rotating conveyor belt with a variety of exquisite cakes 🍰 on display. The decorations resemble an old-style airport display board 🚉, which is quite special. Unfortunately, seating requires each person to order something, so in the end, we chose to take a beautifully crafted cake 🍰 to enjoy back at our accommodation. The taste was quite good 😋. 【🇰🇷 Korea-Japan Trip - 큰기와집(Keunkiwajip)🦀】 I👩🏻⚕️ came to Korea with the goal of trying their specialty soy sauce crab🦀. My hubby👨🏻💻 and I wanted to try this dish a few years ago, but never had the chance. This time, they went to 큰기와집 (Keunkiwajip) in Anguk-dong. I👩🏻⚕️ chose this place to try the soy sauce crab🦀 because it offers other dishes too, so everyone👩🏻👧🏻🧒🏻 has something to eat😅. In Korea, most restaurants only serve one type of food, and it's not easy to find a place with different options. The restaurant opens at 11:30 am, and we arrived around 11:35 am, people were lining up already. After a while, it even started raining, which made me👩🏻⚕️ a little bit frustrated. While we were waiting in line, the staff handed us the menu and took our order. Finally, after over an hour of waiting, we were able to sit down😌. We ordered three servings of soy sauce crab🦀🦀🦀 and a plate of sliced pork🐖, as we needed to order four dishes for the six of us. The soy sauce crab received a Michelin 1-star⭐️ in 2017 and 2018! We were beyond excited to try it for the first time, and the smooth crab meat with the bright orange crab roe was truly delicious🤤! The crab roe was especially tasty when mixed with rice, and overall, we were very satisfied. The sliced pork, on the other hand, was just okay, so I👩🏻⚕️ suggests going to a place specializing in sliced pork instead😅. Something that’s really important to me as a coach… I want my clients to realize there is no perfect physique. We are also blinded by social media and wanting to look like someone we follow. 😓 I get caught in the same trap. The more I get to know myself and the farther into my fitness journey that I get, I’m realizing that I just want a body that I can be active in, a body I can be strong in, a body I can be imperfect with my diet here and there, I want to enjoy my life, family, and friends. Luckily there is a way to make progress in the gym and enjoy all those things. 🤩 Many of you know I just got home from a week and a half long vacation, before that was Demitri’s birthday, and a couple weeks before that was my birthday. I’ve had an imperfect month 😞 I really thought about it and I’m OK with it I’m just going to get back to work like I always do, get back in the habits AND ITS GOING TO BE OKAY. Wah Gwaan! I have so much LOVE for my Jamaicans so it's only right we go visit. This Caribbean island is known for its friendly people, warm climate and definitely grant you that tropical beach experience you’ve always dreamed about. Ohhhh the White powdery silky soft sand as you walk into the warm, crystal clear turquoise blue water...I so need an Appleton Rum Punch! Kingston was fun, we made sure to visit Local Museum that pays homage to Bob Marley and vibe with the Rastafaris because nowadays some good Ganja is needed to enlighten your mind and reason with the rest of the World. Why is it always so hard to come back home from a vacation? . . Even though we battled sickness throughout the trip and massive sleep regressions from baby, we managed to make it to the beach, the pool, the aquarium (for an hour 🤦🏼♀️), a Duffy boat ride, a movie and LOTS of eating out thanks to my parents for babysitting! . . We were happy to have this #macsports beachcomber wagon (and husband) to lug all of our stuff from point A to point B too! Good wheels from sandy beaches and collapses small for easy storage. . . Overall, it was a great success but will go down as the summer of Hand Foot and Mouth. . .
