I grabbed this lovely little Olympus OM10 in black paint with some nice brassing patina last week and just had a chance to shoot a test roll through it the other day. Judging from this roll of expired Kodak "high definition" 400 processed in home brew ECN-2, everything seems to be working fine with it. I'll likely be selling it as I don't really shoot 35mm and don't currently have any film cameras that take batteries in my lineup. If anyone here is interested just send me a message and I'm sure we could work something out.

Daisy and I did hit up the Teanaway about 10 days or so ago. We had to park 2.4 miles from the Stafford Creek trailhead, in my Jeep, because of snow on the road. I have no idea how much has melted since then because it just hasn't been consistently warm and that road doesn't get too much direct sunlight. We hiked about 3 more miles up the trail once we got there, climbed up about 1000 feet to have some lunch, then headed out. We could have made it to the pass I'm sure but had a late start and the trail was completely snow covered at that point so it would have taken extra time. At any rate, a day in my happy place is a day well lived. Mount Si 🌸 April 23 The “pink moon” (full moon in April) wasn’t visible on my hike, but I saw lots of Spring wildflowers, which is how a full moon in April got that name. Making room in the freezer for Springers. First batch of smoked salmon I’ve made in quite a while. There is something really special about smoked salmon. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s nostalgia, from growing up in the PNW and the memories of eating it as a kid? Or maybe it’s all the history behind smoking fish and the primal connection it has with early people and their methods of food preservation. I’m not sure, but one thing I do know….is it’s delicious.
