We introduced some engagement games for his walks to help increase his proximity and the value of hanging out with family and we started to grow an emergency recall cue. I did some great "mat training" before the neighbor dogs came out and riled me up into some fence running. But... mum decided to use this as a training moment and once the lead was back on, we walked up and down the yard, as far away from the fenceline as possible and in the end I even sat a bit through their barking, did some sniffing, put my paws on objects and did some jumps with mum.
