Going on 6 years, making bombs now. I have used the same recipe for most of those years. This has been the problem the majority of this last year until now. I watch the humidity like a stalker and it is not the issue today, 14% is nothing. I have tweaked the recipe to help stop the issue with not much luck. After looking at these death star bombs earlier to see this, I broke down. I debated just giving in & quitting. After a little deep breathing and a cherry yogurt, I found one of the recipes I played with in the beginning. I re-played with it and adapted parts of my current recipe. Made 2 batches, and now we wait. Cross those fingers & toes it works, I have lots to get done. When I saw these mugs, I just knew what needed to happen. My vision turned into a hot mess. It was my first time attempting to pipe wax, and I believe I need a little more practice. I bashed up the remaking powerpuff girls that were all cracked yesterday and turned them into these cute hello kitty cups. Yall it's late and I am still printing labels but I had to show the Lord of the Rings inspired set. First is Gandalfs demise. After that battle with the Balrog which lead to his demise, his hat fell to the ground and his magic began pouring out and the long journey to middle earth. So the hats cracked and after 2 wise ladies said no to crushing them, I let my imagination do what it does. Next up is my precious, a bubble bar scented in a petrichoir blend and is my interpretation of when the one ring was found. I also have a soap idea for this too. Last is my second breakfast scrub. The big jars are 12oz of whipped scrub in 2 scents. One side is cinnamon bread pudding and has vanilla bean specks, the other side is juicy peach. My peach color came out more pink but who cares, it smells so good. I also have a just peach and a bread pudding on their own. My attempt at Demon slayer bombs. I salvaged 4 of each and while they are not perfect, I did my best. Nezuko is a pretty pink bomb and is scented in Japanese cherry blossom type. Tanjiro is a turquoise bomb and scented in a Bergmann and black pepper blend. I will have both waiting for you @yellowcityconvention this weekend.
