GRACIAS FAMILIA 🙏🏻 Casi nunca expreso mi sentír personal en redes sociales, o tal vez no ventilo mis problemas en dicho lugar, sin embargo está lucha no fue fácil... independientemente de la manera física me estaba consumiendo mental y psicológicamente. Está lucha y está victoria significa bastante para mí por qué apesar de las adversidades mentales se logró realizar la hazaña, esto es la muestra de respeto a mi familia de demostrarles que todo esté tiempo fuera de casa a válido la pena y que demuestra que si he logrado sobrepasar este compromiso es a raíz de la manera en que fui forjado desde niño. Hoy QUIERO DECIR QUE ESTA LUCHA SE LA DEDICO A MI FAMILIA QUE SE ENCUENTRA LEJOS Y QUE SE QUE SI YO PUDE SALIR DE ESTO ES GRACIAS A LAS ENSEÑANZAS DE MIS PADRES 🙏🏻 Ayer fue una noche pletorica, aunque en momentos el panorama nos jugaba en contra luchamos contra corriente y he aquí el resultado. It's a colourful festival, with dancing, singing and throwing of powder paint and coloured water. Holi is also known as the "festival of colours". Lets come together and Celebrate 'HOLI' with Maya. Date: 25th March 2024 Time: 14.00 Venue: Cottage House, TW5 9WB -------------------------------------------------------------------------- INTERESTING STORY BEHIND CELEBRATING HOLI -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Holi also celebrates the Hindu god Krishna and the legend of Holika and Prahlad. Hiranyakashipu was an evil king. He had special powers that made him nearly invincible and he wanted everyone in his kingdom to worship him. He was so powerful he started to act like a god and punished or killed anyone who disobeyed him. Hiranyakashipu had a son called Prahlad. Prahlad disobeyed his father and worshipped Vishnu instead of him, so his father planned to kill him. The king asked his sister Holika to help kill Prahlad. Holika had a special cloak that would protect her from fire. So she planned to trick Prahlad by taking him into a fire... but because she was using her powers for evil, the plan failed and the cloak flew from Holika and covered Prahlad. Prahlad was safe and Vishnu then defeated the evil king. Grateful to have the whole team together in person! It’s not often we all manage to be onsite but today was extra special as we look back to what we have achieved last year and the 1st quarter of the year —acknowledging our accomplishments and the hurdles we’ve overcome. I am also thrilled to have finally get a hold of the trophy which we won during the Maya Edge Awards under the Team of Teams category. I was very happy that my nomination won last year. It was a last minute submission since I didn’t think that such nomination would qualify since I thought the criteria was product centric. Receiving the Maya Edge Team of Teams award was a moment of unparalleled joy and pride. It validated our hard work and perseverance, our commitment to excellence and our spirit of teamwork and collaboration. The award is not just for Risk and Compliance Office but for all those who participated and helped us during the Regulatory Examination.
