Here are some pictures from Allen and my date night on Saturday. Allen's favorite bad movie, The Room, was playing at the Garland Theater in town so, naturally, we had to go! One of the movie's main actors, Greg Sestero, was there and both Allen and I got to meet and chat with him for a bit. I bought a bunch of merch so that I could get a signature, but we managed to get our copy of The Room (already signed by Tommy) to be signed by Greg! The movie's showing itself was great! Greg had a few select audience members read an unused scene from the script. I almost wish that Allen or I volunteered. I was busy recording, otherwise my hand would have shot up lol. The audience was participating throughout and spoons were being thrown all around the auditorium. People aren't kidding when they tell you that this is the next Rocky Horror Picture Show. Ah, it was so lovely meeting Greg! I hope he comes back to town! I also hope that Tommy comes to town at some point too! I was supposed to see (Mark) @gregsestero in Sydney for a The Room Q&A, but had to cancel it for this holiday, so I was kinda annoyed, but during LA Comic Con Dayna saw a ‘The Room’ poster on a vendor booth way off in the distance, we walked over and there was Tommy. The movie is perhaps one of the most inept I have ever seen. Costumes, editing, acting, sound. You name it. All atrociously terrible. Why is Tommy Wiseau dressed as Michael Jackson in the Ghosts era?
