Waking up to these views in Thailand is pretty special 🌊 @ireneresort is one of best places to stay in Koh Lipe, with a prime location on the stunning Sunrise Beach. The resort opened in 2022, and is one of only a handful of luxury resorts in Koh Lipe. There’s 16 villas, each with a private pool, as well as a main swimming pool, swim up bar, and a “Med-Asian” restaurant. I checked into the incredible Sand Beachfront Pool Villa - which has more than enough space for two people, a large, comfortable bed, a widescreen TV with Netflix, a well stocked minibar, and a spacious bathroom. And I’d challenge anyone not to be impressed with the views, you’re looking out over one of the most beautiful parts of Koh Lipe. If you’re after a good workout try scuba diving 😮💨 Getting off a bench with all the gear (weight belt, metal tank etc), walking to the edge of the boat to jump in. Then diving (sometimes swimming against a strong current like today) for 40 mins. Then comes the toughest part…. Climbing out of the choppy sea (with a current) on a ladder still with a weight belt on and the tank on your back, but you’re now weighed down further with a soaking wet wetsuit 😂 Now that’s a workout. But it’s bloody brilliant 🐠 🐟🐡🦀🦞🦐🦑🐙 Had a well deserved lunch and cold beer afterwards 🍻 Have you tried scuba diving? If not, would you? When i went traveling without a return ticket last year I expected I will change countries every month. But in real life this kind of living turned to be very exhausting. It’s all because to feel good I need to have a stable routine, for example, visit the same gym and go for groceries at the same store. That’s why I decided to travel slow and this is how my route in 2024 looked in real life: 📌January - by this time I already lived in Vietnam for almost half year, exploring Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue and Dalat. It’s a fascinating country, very peaceful and budget-friendly. So next month me and my boyfriend decided to change a country. We were choosing between Thailand and Philippines but after hearing so many positive feedback about Philippines we decided to go there. And it was a mistake. 📌 Philippines - our journey started with being scammed by the fake landlord. We payed money and it turned out the flat never existed. We explored few islands, swam with whales, saw famous location but my overall impression is unpleasant. Apart from the beautiful places there is nothing there, very bad service and food, it also felt very unsafe for me. 📌 Thailand - so after 1 month we ran away to Thailand. I think it’s really a paradise in every detail. Beautiful, very developed, with great food and any kind of service or activity you can imagine. I don’t think it’s a place i want to live my whole life but it’s definitely a perfect country to have a rest and recharge your battery. ? - already in 1 week we will unlock a new country. It will be a short term trip to make a visa and at the same time to explore the city👀 I absolutely love traveling! But when you constantly change locations it can be exhausting. That’s why now i plan traveling “smart”. That's because our natural state of mind is positive. Happiness involves returning to the natural state of our mind, but this comes as a challenge since we are surrounded by constant distractions. We are always chasing after the next thing, and we are not present in the now. We are living in the future. We eat cake because it looks good, and we release happy brain chemicals looking at it, thinking about it, imagining how great it will taste. But when we eat it, the happy chemicals are gone, and we are already thinking about the next thing. We get a fresh pair of Nikes that we love, then they release a new model, and we want them now. We are always chasing happiness, but happiness is already within us. Everything you need is right there, it's you. You are happiness. ✨️ 💖 🌟
