Here are some simple stretching exercises that you can do to improve your overall flexibility: 1. Neck stretch: Stand, sit or lie down with your head slightly tilted to the right. Use your left hand to gently pull your head toward your left shoulder. Hold for 15-30 seconds, then repeat on the other side. 2. Shoulder shrug: Stand or sit with your arms by your sides. Raise your shoulders to your ears, then lower them back down. Repeat 10-15 times. 3. Hamstring stretch: Sit on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you. Reach forward, keeping your back straight, as far as you can, and hold for 15-30 seconds. 4. Calf stretch: Stand facing a wall with your hands against it at shoulder height. Step one foot back, keeping your heel on the ground, and lean forward until you feel a stretch in your calf. Hold for 15-30 seconds, then repeat with the other leg. 5. Quadriceps stretch: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend one knee and lift your foot behind you, holding onto it with one hand.
