We are now so proud to announce that this partnership will be joining forces not just once a month, but full time as of Friday! That’s right, mouth-watering gyoza & southeast Asian-inspired dishes 7 DAYS A WEEK on your doorstep! 🙌 If you’ve not tried Midori’s food yet, it is by nature, soulful Japanese home cooking - which the founder Midori watched her late grandmother Reiko and her mother Miho, make as a child. The traditions of preparing food in bulk by pickling and fermenting vegetables to wrapping gyoza in anticipation of harsh winters in Otaru is something that was passed down to Midori through generations. Midori and her partner Ruari were both raised in Hong Kong. Here in the UK during the lockdown of Covid 19 - missing the comforts and familiarity of Japanese home cooking and noticing closures of these types of restaurants, Midori and Ruari inspired by their love for east and south east Asian flavours, rolled up their sleeves and set to work. Fast forward to today and they have taken Didsbury and Manchester by storm. From supplying gyoza to local delis and artisan shops across south Manchester and the city centre, to regular pop up kitchens and gyoza/sushi workshops. Midori has brought a slice of Japanese home cooking and southeast Asian flavours to us all!
