*THIRSTY THURSDAY* The Hollywood Lounge at DCA strikes again. This is definitely the spot for fun and tasty seasonal/Halloween concoctions! I recently tried 2 yummy drinks from the new menu…Let’s start with the “Worms, Dice and Everything Nice” drink that would make Oogie Boogie himself proud. This is a fun fruity drink with Midori, Peach Snapps, Pineapple and Orange Juices that finishes with a minty kick. It’s pricey at $22 but so much fun with two Dice Glow Cubes and Gummy Worms as a garnish. This is a must have at least once, even if it’s for the picture!! (I’m a sucker for glow cubes). Then I got to try something I was so looking forward to-The Honest Abe PB & Raspberry Jam Hard Cider. It did not disappoint! You taste the subtle raspberry flavor first and then the peanut butter sneaks in…it’s not too sweet (I don’t like sweet ciders) and so so delish! Has anyone had a chance to stop by the Hollywood Lounge and try the new spooky beverages? The other week I got to try two of them, Worms, Dice, & Everything Nice and the Ghoulish Delight. 🥤 Everything Nice is supposed to be a Midori-Limeade Slush, but it mostly tastes like limeade. The gummy worms are super cute but I really love the glow dice that come with it! 🐛🐛 Ghoulish Delight is a non-alcoholic cotton candy lemonade and it's super yummy!!👻 At first I couldn't taste the cotton candy flavoring, but after a few sips I could and I really liked it!! I definitely have to get this again before the spoopy season is over. The drink also has an alcoholic counterpart at the Hollywood Lounge called Supernatural Spirit and it comes with cotton candy vodka. I spent a couple of hours at Disney California Adventure today to kick off the start of Halloween Time. I'm pretty much burned out on Disney merch at this point, but I can't resist glow cubes... These Oogie Boogie glow dice as part of the Worms, Dice & Everything Nice slushy drink at the Hollywood Lounge. It's technically alcoholic because of the Midori, but any ability to get a buzz off of this is non-existent. I'm a lightweight and this served as my "breakfast" and it still had no effect. But, it was quite delicious on such a hot day. If you just want the dice and not pay $21 plus tax, you are able to purchase an alternate drink like bottled water instead. I don't have price specifics, sorry!
