What did I eat at Disneyland? Upon arrival at our first lunch at Great Mapple Sandi gifted us all a Grogu Rice Crispy! Most of us devoured them after lunch on the walk back to the room! At Great Maple Sandi and I split the very shareable Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich! A Cheesy Garlic Pretzel Bread from Maurice’s Treats was shared and consumed with epic speed. Amazing!!! Yoda Beignets with Matcha Sauce! There were 6 of us and 6 of them… Not a crumb was left! Favorite treat from Star Wars After Dark for me was the Wookie Whoopie Pie! These need to be a regular menu item for sure! Tropical Hideaway Dole Whip and Bao Buns! Jolly Holiday Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup and a Raspberry Macaron are pretty much a must on a Disneyland day! Cocktails at Magic Key Terrace on our last evening was a perfect way to cheers our fun adventure together. With the breakfast options being limited at Disneyland Park (most food locations open 10:30 am for lunch) we decided to try this breakfast burrito from Galactic Grill! Galactic Grill is one of the few breakfast spots at Disneyland (8-10:30am) ☀️ We have tried their other breakfast options and definitely recommend each of them 🤗 Since we enjoy trying new items each time we go, we went with the Soy Chorizo Burrito. Overall, the burrito was decent. The chipotle sauce was watery, which we didn’t expect! There was a strong taste coming from the soy chorizo, which is pretty common with plant-based meals. This didn’t affect the taste but it is something that stayed with me. The spicier potatoes were probably my favorite part! They were well seasoned and meshed well with the grilled peppers and egg! 😋 Overall, would we get it again? Probably not bc we’ve had tastier breakfast options at the park, but we are glad we tried it at least once ! We finally tried the famous Lobster Nachos at Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure! Everything was delicious and we were expecting to love the lobster nachos, but what stole the show was the Salmon Poké. It was bright, fresh, and super flavorful! The cocktails were also not to be missed if you enjoy an adult beverage. 🍹 They complimented the meal very well and were wonderfully made. The Disney Parks Blog dropped some Downtown Disney dining news this morning. The new restaurants by Mexico’s first Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán, Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita will be opening in May. These restaurants will occupy the spaces formerly occupied by Catal, Uva Bar, and Sprinkles Cupcakes. Din Tai Fung Opening This Summer Another delicious update! Din Tai Fung, a Michelin-awarded restaurant brand from Taiwan, will open this summer. New Steakhouse and BBQ Concepts Coming to Downtown Disney Disney is excited to let you in on more mouth-watering plans they have underway! Two new restaurant concepts – a steakhouse restaurant and an adjacent barbecue eatery – are in the works for the Downtown Disney District. These will be located on the footprint of the former Tortilla Jo’s. More info to come on these new locations. Lastly, Disney is designing an all-new, expanded and completely reimagined confection experience for Marcelines Confectionery. I used to drive far for japanese fluffy pancakes. Now i can have the best in tustin. This is the best most authentic you can find in the USA. Fluffy fluffy dessert cafe is an international chain started by japanese owners with authentic cookie techniques. I was impressed with the quality and the look of all the food here. The pancakes are silky smooth extra fluffy but at the same time durable and can be taken to go and enjoyed later. The pour over sauce is so much fun. The texture and the taste is perfection. The shrimp tempura is the best I have ever had. It beats any japanese restaurant. It is extra crispy and delicous with furikake seasoning on top and the best dipping sauce that I want to buy a bottle of. The shrimp inside is large and fresh. The crispy quality is impressive. I waited a long time to take pictures and they are invincible. I think if I took them home they would be just as crispy. The matcha strawberry Latte is so full of flavor with real matcha. This restaurant is located at the beginning of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland. This cute New Orleans themed restaurant has an impeccable ambiance. The menu is that of an average “fine” dining in Disney, but the ambiance makes it next level. Nothing is better than dining with your best friends in front of one of our favorite rides! So we finally tried the viral chocolate chip cookies at Harbor Galley at Disneyland & they were delicious! *These were a solid 8/10 🌟 for us. It’s not the best cookie you’ll ever have & I wouldn’t wait in a long line for them but I would mobile order and get again especially hot , fresh & with milk 🥛 they would be perfect 🤩 *They come in a 6 & 12 pack.
