What series would you recommend watching, even if there’s no more? October Faction (2020): primera y única temporada de la ya cancelada serie creada por Damian Kindler, basada en el cómic de Damien Worm y Steve Niles, y protagonizada por Maxim Roy, Tamara Taylor, Aurora Burghart, J.C. Mackenzie, Gabriel Darku, Wendy Crewson, Megan Follows, Stephen Waisglass y Kelsey Klippenstein. Una verdadera chapuza de obra, aunque al principio engancha, se vuelve cansina y cada vez más mala. Punto positivo: a nivel de acción está bien controlada, aunque podrían haber trabajado más en la distribución de escenas, me parece una buena obra en la que se refleja bien la acción. Punto negativo: una de las peores series creadas para Netflix hasta ahora a nivel de interpretaciones y efectos visuales. Pese a que el guión es adaptado y aún así algo flojo, lo anterior mencionado es realmente el grandísimo problema de esta serie. Una auténtica basura. Sanctuary : le monde recèle de monstres lâchés dans la nature. et ils sont la clef de notre évolution et du futur de notre race... avec l'aide de will zimmerman, de sa fille Ashley et de son majordome Bigfoot, le dr helen magnus, traque ces créatures pour leur venir en aide et pour le besoin de ses recherches. Krypton from Warner Horizon Scripted Television, the Superman prequel show developed by Man Of Steel's David S. "Sanctuary" - Season 1 from the year 2008 (13 episodes, science fiction fantasy) 🏹💊 Dr. Helen Magnus and her team, forensic psychiatrist Dr. Will Zimmerman, technic genius Henry and Helen's daughter Ashley, study the eerie beings most human dismiss as the imaginary stuff of nightmares, but who are very real and living in the modern world. 🎥🕍 I found this show by accident and just watched it, because I knew Amanda Tapping from "Stargate". Overall, this series is really fun to watch. I like the characters and their relationships. Some storylines are quite hilarious and the special effects look mostly unreal and made me laugh a few times. I'm still not sure if I'm going to watch the next seasons... 👩👦👱👦 All in all, I would recommend this show to fans of fantasy stories that are a bit over the top, but still fun to watch. So I was rewatching Fugue (it's just soooooo good) and I realised something. I might be reading too much into this but hear me out. In this clip you see Will's expression is different to how we've ever seen him...except for one time: 'Chimera'. It is at the end of Chimera that @robindunne plays Adam Worth in Will's body (kinda). Robin did a fantastic job of that, and it really interested me to see those same expressions on him here. Adam acted the way he did because he was a brilliant mind that broke, and in this scene (not to mention the rollercoaster of the whole season) Will is struggling not to break from the pressure and loss. It just recieved a pilot order from SyFy back in May with Damian Kindler ("SLEEPY HOLLOW", "STARGATE: ATLANTIS") as show runner and Colm McCarthy ("SHERLOCK", "PEAKY BLINDERS") directing the pilot from a script by Goyer and Ian Goldberg ("ONCE UPON A TIME", "TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES"). The show is set 200 years before MAN OF STEEL when the House of El has been ostracized and shamed and follows Superman's grandfather Seg-El "as he fights to redeem his family's honor and save his beloved world from chaos. Cameron Cuffe (THE HALCYON, FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS) has officially been cast as Seg-El, described as "athletic, quietly confident." Part of his character arc will see him in a "clandestine, forbidden relationship" with Lyta Zod, played by Georgina Campbell ("ONE OF US"), an ancestor of Superman's archnemesis General Zod. No other cast members have been announced thus far, but the following characters are said to be involved in the series ▪Val-El: Seg's grandfather, who defied death by going to the Phantom Zone and is a staunch believer in space exploration. ▪Alura Zod: The Kryptonian general, and mother of Lyta. ▪Dev-Em: A "chiseled, twenty-something bad boy". ▪Ter-El: Seg's father The characters are a mix of comic canon, original constructs & a blending of the two. Seg-El (spelled Seyg-El in the comics) was the Post-Crisis version of Jor-El the First, "a noble Lord of the House of El". In the comics, Seyg-El's grandfather was Don-El, police chief of the city of Kandor. Alura Zod shares her first name with Alura Zor-El, the mother of Supergirl and Drav-Em was a perverse murderer who was sentenced to exile in the Phantom Zone but escape and became a follower of General Zod. Most of these details were rendered moot by the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
