Over the last couple of evenings I have been moved to hear two leaders talk so elequently. Last night I had the pleasure to add #fingerprints to the Bristol Bus Boycott satellite circle ⭕️ for #SPOTtimespotTIME at the at the Paul Stephenson Lecture 2024 - keynote @marvinjrees organised by @julzbrizzle @curiosity_unltd alongside @diversityuk__ @burgessalmon Tonight ( I wasn’t fingerprint gathering as @carolinelucasbrighton had already added her #fingerprints in 2019 during the #meaningfulvote at the #UKParlaiment supported by the visionary @thangamdebbonairemp . ) Caroline talked about her new book and Andrew Kelly #festivalofideas asked a series of questions celebrating the transcendent language and beauty of art and literature. I was beyond thrilled to hear that the @bristolegacyfdn was mentioned with is something @empressasher and @marvinjrees launched last month in Bristol. Together with a huge acknowledgement that reporation and equity with a desire to connect all social arenas with a democratic fairness was elequently discussed. Caroline navigated present complex political feeling with integrity and ease. #SPOTtimespotTIME is proud beyond words to be a collective voice for all that is honorable. We are all life. We are all one. I am proud to be an artist in #Bristol. This collective artwork has given me windows and portholes into lots of different arenas. I witness changing opinion and over the last two nights I have felt inspired to believe in the goodness of life and nature. To validate and move towards a society that interweaves and celebrates our difference and applauds our similarities. Working for @camunifestivals The Festival of Ideas family area again we created an entrance archway. The brief was colourful and tropical so we mixed artificial flora and fauna with some specially commissioned art from @tripsandpieces

Up early with my friend Alice Eldridge to record some birdsong. We’re super chuffed to have our installation BirdBath chosen for the Brighton Festival this year. From 5-12th May we’ll be filling the church of St Peter’s in Preston Park with birdsong recorded in the woods, meadows, rivers and coastline around Brighton.
