Last night I had the pleasure to add #fingerprints to the Bristol Bus Boycott satellite circle ⭕️ for #SPOTtimespotTIME at the at the Paul Stephenson Lecture 2024 - keynote @marvinjrees organised by @julzbrizzle @curiosity_unltd alongside @diversityuk__ @burgessalmon Tonight ( I wasn’t fingerprint gathering as @carolinelucasbrighton had already added her #fingerprints in 2019 during the #meaningfulvote at the #UKParlaiment supported by the visionary @thangamdebbonairemp . ) Caroline talked about her new book and Andrew Kelly #festivalofideas asked a series of questions celebrating the transcendent language and beauty of art and literature. I was beyond thrilled to hear that the @bristolegacyfdn was mentioned with is something @empressasher and @marvinjrees launched last month in Bristol. Together with a huge acknowledgement that reporation and equity with a desire to connect all social arenas with a democratic fairness was elequently discussed. Caroline navigated present complex political feeling with integrity and ease. #SPOTtimespotTIME is proud beyond words to be a collective voice for all that is honorable. We are all life. We are all one. I am proud to be an artist in #Bristol. This collective artwork has given me windows and portholes into lots of different arenas. Earth Day 2024 commemorated with cleaning drive at Barla Kunta Lake, Hyderabad Volunteers of the MyBhoomi initiative of The Satsang Foundation (TSF) commemorated Earth Day 2024 on 21st April 2024 by participating in a cleaning drive organized by Dhruvansh, an e-NGO, at the Barla Kunta Lake in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Surrounded by tall apartment buildings in a densely populated area, the lake has suffered neglect and become a cesspool filled with sewage water, plastic waste, and all kinds of debris. Planet vs. Plastic - the theme for Earth Day 2024 - resonated with the volunteers and a few residents of the apartment buildings as they worked in unison to remove plastic waste, plastic and glass bottles, thermocol packing material, and debris from the lake, its embankment, and the surrounding pathway. About 20 large sacks filled with refuse were handed over to the municipal authorities for safe disposal and recycling. ‘My Earth, My Responsibility’: The volunteers pledged to continue their efforts to fight the plastic menace.
